Just Debunked It, Steam and Epic CAN Play Together.
(This thread is intended to be a sort of confirmation that epic players can in fact play with steam players, there are some on this discussion who are a bit confused if they epic and steam can in fact play together)

I see people on here are concerned if you can play with epic on steam and vise versa. And im here to tell you absolutely you can. I was about to play with my girlfriend on Steam while i was on Epic. We used an invite code first and that worked out just fine. Then we wanted to see if we can join a game with out using the invite code and we absolutely did.

I challange anyone to try it out yourself. How we did it was we each choose a difficulty in this case we went with Hard, then we each choose the same stage in which we went with Tokyo > Cruice Control. And we both were able to join up with a random.

Steam, Epic, Playstation, and Xbox can all play together. Again if you have WWZ on Epic and a friend has the game on steam try joining each others games.

What was there to be debunked?
We have numerous threads/post stating this.
Hell, you can flat out see what they are playing on too for the consoles while you are in the lobby. You'll see the Xbox or the PS logo next to their name.
Everyone is mixed in together Windows Store, Epic, Steam, Xbox, and PS.

-Nevermind I saw why you posted this, just saw the other thread. xD
Forums have been saying this non-stop so I dont know why he is saying otherwise.

Yeah xD its just best that they know the truth of it all, only reason i made this post is because some people can quite easily get confused.

Interesting guess I have to make a foot note in my thread as if reading other people’s comments is not a dead give away to why I made this thread in the first place. There are people in this discussion thread who believe that you can’t cross play with epic players. I hope this is enough understanding for you.
Or if you go to invite there is a code under it and you can use that code to connect to other xD
because the game cross plays between xbox and PS as well lol

Yes as ive stated in the thread here. This thread is for people having issues with understanding Epic and steam are able to crossplay with each other.

I mean, seeing level 999 characters with a PC logo should be a give away. I saw 999s on day one of release here.

Importing savefiles works on steam too.

This has nothing to do with the thread what so ever, you’re literally derailing.

My friend on epic has the base WWZ game (not the aftermath) and i bought mine on steam but we cant connect to each other party even with the invite code. Is this a bug or base WWZ cant play together with aftermath owners?

I dont know theres gotta be something youre doing wrong. My girlfriend and i were able to join each other thru the invite code first and then we left each others party as ive explained. I have the base game on epic and she has the Aftermath on steam. It all worked with no problems at all. And its not a bug, youre literally doing something wrong here.
