It's not a solo game, bots are available, but not very helpful.
So co-op is highly recommend, though you can play solo on easy or normal difficulty levels only. Or alone on Extreme. :D
I always play offline when I'm leveling a character, it is extremely fun, even offline.
2 things I'm really looking forward to that were't mentioned (I don't think)
- New Horde map to come
- New mechanic being asses with the new Horde maps that allows MORE zombies on screen than is currently possible.
The change allowing more zombies on screen has me really excited, because the feature of this game that separates it from L4D and B4B is the massive throngs of zombies on screen at once. The fact that it is going to be MORE is really exciting to me.
