Cpu bottlenecking my gpu

the game runs well 65-70 fps, except for few dips to 50-55 here and there, turns out it's the cpu, which is on 100% and i am using i5 3rd gen, shame, is there a way to fix this? my gpu is 1660 6gb.

i don't care if it was made in AD 1, i don't really care as long as it does it's job, but i think they intentionally do this so that people like me will buy new cpu, cheap people lol

in vulkan indeed i get 20% more fps but some of the reflections is gone, it's less beautiful.

what if i don't want to waste my money on stupid useless computer hardware that are quite costly.

Vulkan is not the answer for everybody. I get 100-150 fps @1440p with DX11, all game settings maxed.

@1440p I get better fps with DX11 and it looks far superior.

Nope the simple fact is that your CPU is almost 10 years old and obsolete at this point as PC technology has come very far since 2012. Your CPU is actually so old and outdated that its inhibiting your GPU from its full potentential, and your RAM isnt doing alot of good either on such an old system. The only way you can get better performance is to upgrade, or in this case, relace your whole system but keep the GPU. Thats it, no way around it.

No need to upgrade honestly, if the CPU still does it's job for gaming... just don't expect crystal clear performance. I'm using an i7 3770k with a 1080ti, i'm in the same situation as you.

but why can i run other games like state of decay 2 with no problem, even mortal kombat 11 runs perfect, this is business or exploitation forcing people to buy products, that are not that cheap, which is also something you can live without, i will not buy new cpu just because they want to make money by making the game run poor, this is a scam i am sure if they try they can fix this but they want to get rich and impress girls with money.

exactly, it runs really good on other big games as well, state of decay 2, mk 11, dota 2 all at max settings, overwatch max settings etc, what annoys me is, it is very clear that they are doing this on purpose so people will buy, it's not that i am not willing to spend my money, but it's clear that this is money grab, greed, i am sure if state of decay 2 can run fine this game can also run fine.

Some games might do that, but i doubt WWZ is one of those games since it's not very "high end". The game is just poorly constructed and optimized. Game crashes randomly when the game is working fine. They put little effort into fixing issues with the game.

Some PC players with mouse and keyboard have walking forward issues, this is related to the stutters the game has. Crashes for the most part are likely related to the stutters. I get longer stutters in longer missions, which can lead to the game "freezing", game is running fine but you can't do anything, closing the report window, will shut down the game, it's like a false report. This issue is also present on consoles.
