Best 3 classes for a beginer?
So i just bought this game, none of my friends play it so ill probably play with random people or alone and was wondering which classes are good from the start, i know all classes serve a purpose but there must be some "meta" classes that are a bit better, i was thinking of starting with gunslinger since it seems pretty straight forward but would like to hear your opinions

And what about gunslinger and from those 3 that you mentioned who is the most fun?

I'd say all those except Exterminator. Friendly Fire is something that I experienced from high level players who don't understand grenades do damage to your team. It's quite sad really.

I'd replace it with Dronemaster, but was rated a pretty bad class last time I played this. Only reason I'd say Dronemaster is your drones will save you a lot and are a cast and forget skill.

Fun is pretty subjective, otherwise my favorite classes wouldn't be support classes that most people tend to hate in MMO's.

Dronemaster is training wheels for beginners. It revives you, it unpins lurkers from you, it gives you multiple chances to stop z hitting you from behind. I don't know the exact perks needed but it has all that.

The new Vanguard class is beginner friendly. Shield charge is your get of jail free card when you are blocked by a mob of zombies. In your skill build, you can even make it so that when you use the shield you'll be invulnerable for a few sec and can do a quick res on teammate if your shield charge ends near them.

Gunslinger; it's the generic fps soldier class.

Maybe not the strongest or most useful to the team.

In hardest lv/challenge, Fixer and medic are core.

Dronemaster is not a noob friendly class but it provide 100% friendly fire proof so u will need it in special stage/challenge.

Gunslinger, slasher, hellraiser, exterminator are damage dealers focus in different field.

Gunslinger focus on gun and he is stronger than other damage dealer in early level(That dun mean he is bad in late game).

Slasher focus melee. It has arguably the best anti special infest ability

Hellraiser focus explosive weapon.

Exterminator is all rounder. Bad in early level, reliable in late game.

Vanguard deal worst damage. His strength is revive teammates and run to the goal. Not recommended to noobs

it is the best class after the invis gas/ammo crate spam nerf to fixer
you can snowball damage boosts combine with fast reload while generate nades that generates ammo for snowballing damage more......
plus you get a heavy MG that gets you out of trouble at high level and wrecks rats

Gas is still great utility for saving teammate...etc.

Also Fixer with +penetration to semiauto and the bluecoin classic battlerifle seems like it works pretty well.

I've been playing Gunslinger with no problems and finish with the most kills most games

I have 35 days of playtime over on Epic with lvl 999 and all classes (except for vanguard) prestiged to at least prestige 5: In my opinion gunslinger, hellraiser, exterminator are the strongest in killing massive amounts of zombies, but each of those classes only really shines, when they are leveled up. Unleveled each class is pretty much the same.

Gunslinger is strong for the team at lvl 30, because of a teamwide damage buff. Other than that he is the easiest and most precise shooter, because no downside to moving while shooting. Also all fixed Machinegun stations have more ammo. In my opinion this is the strongest class, especially when combined with an ammo fixer.

Hellraiser is nice because of all the stuff he can use to make things go boom. Useful for team later on, because all explosives can kill more zombies and because mortars have more shells.

Exterminator can play with molotovs to literally block certain spots from zombies going through for a VERY long time. Meaning whenever you have to defend a certain spot, but zombies keep harassing the team from a different location and to reach that location, they pass through some tight spot, just throw the molotov at that tight spot and all zombies for the next ~30-40 seconds running through there will die. Helps the team focus at certain directions. Other than that he has a perk, that autoreloads your gun, if you kill a certain amount of zomvbies in a certain time frame. With some guns that can mean, that you NEVER stop shooting, because no reloads are needed (special sniper rifle, light machine gun, tier 2 shotgun if done right).

Slasher is strong too, but requires a lot of leveling to be effective and is kind of dependand on the map. Tight spaces with swamrs are is domain. Paired with an upgraded chainsaw he can hardly be killed at all. Moscow 3 is a lot of fun with him. Most people don't know how to play him though and he is hard to master.

Fixer is good for the team, but not very fun to play in my opinion. With the perk, that increases penetration with semi-auto-guns and with the ammobag for the team he has some serious kill-potential though.

Dronemaster is 100% trash. Anything he can do can be done 100% better by some other class. I think it was implemented for console players, who cannot aim.

Vanguard no clue, but to me he looks like he is not very strong. Looks like whatever he does could be done by slasher too, but slasher can do it better.

Medic.... 90% of the players playing him have no clue about him. His job is to constantly stim/pre-stim the team and use medkits whenever somebody is low. Most players keep the medkits for themselves and only stim themselves. Would not recommend playing that class, unless you really want to play support. Other than that he does not have a lot of kill-potential, so there is no point in playing him, if you don't want to support the team. If you don't want to support and just want to shoot stuff, go play gunslinger instead.
