If you never tried it, it's a great game. It's super well optimized, graphics are gorgeous, shredding zombies with your gun feels amazing, progression system is addictive and missions are cool for my taste.
Of course the steam launch is a cashgrab, but 40 for all the package is a fair price. If you want cheaper yo have lots of verified code sellers that sells aftermath close to 50% discount anyway.
1° - Support for more joysticks for the game, which is a very good thing, because not everyone uses the Xbox controller.
2° - More servers from other regions, which is something very good for everyone, because it's a game that has a lot of zombies and lag gets in the way.
3° - Host Locally makes the game private, the person who should choose whether to make it private or public, something similar to Left 4 Dead 2.
4° - The rats in this game are extremely powerful, which is a funny thing, many are nerfing him, hahaha.
These are problems that everyone should pass on to the Developers, I've done my part in passing these problems on to the Devs, and I try to help all of you. What I'm sad about is that many are irritated by these issues (and they are rightly irritated), but when a patch comes up that fixes these issues, they forget to change the analysis, thus giving the impression that the game is crap . Other reviews are unfounded because they argue about the Base version and the Deluxe version, which had already warned about their content, but some people don't pay attention.
The game isn't bad, it's a lot of fun to be honest, and if you play with friends it's even better. I have it at Epic Games, and I'm thinking about taking it to STEAM.
The game is just fine and a lot of fun =)
It blows my mind how you always... always... always give absolutely wrong misinformation.
No.
The reviews were never good. Within the first 30 mins of the game being out on Steam it was mixed. I was there and got to enjoy the Steam maintenance Tuesday that brought the servers down for over an hour not far after release.
Why? Issues with controllers and no regional servers for certain locations.
Then it was tons of 'Oh this is just WWZ still? I already owned this game why am I paying full price again' because they didnt read the store page.
OP, very little complaints are about Epic.... the large bulk are the reasons I just gave you.
Dont believe me go glance through it yourself, for whatever reason Blast here always gives incredibly misleading and false information every where he goes.
Just glancing 8 are issues with servers/regional.
4 are about controller.
3 are about buying the same game over again and not realizing it
and a few ones for random different reasons, the people mentioning Epic in just glancing seem to be 'game worked great there now X issues' or 'Y issues still exst'
I personally love the game, for $40 you honestly get a lot of content and a really fun experience. If you are unsure, watch some reviews.
The game no have servers in SA...
Well it's a good thing I'm not a console peasant who requires aim assist to enjoy FPS games. Good day.
