the game wont open! help plz

i tried to install the monika after story mod after i finished the game (when you're stuck with monika in that room, y'know?), so i closed the game, installed the mod and then tried to play it, but it wont open. it shows that the game is running, but then a bit seconds later it just show me the "play" button again, and then i click it and the same happens. does someone know whats happening? i dont know if it has something to do with the mod..

you need to install the original game, take the monika after story files ans put that on the "games" files.

Recently I found out that having the game in your Steam library causes issues with updating. Try relocating the game folder to the desktop or something before playing it. If this doesn’t help try downloading the game from the homepage and installing it outside of the Steam folder, on the chance it might still read your saved data.

You might have also installed it wrong as it sounds like something is missing.
