Natsuki (and other lolis) are cute, but because they are so INNOCENT, not because they are "sexy", so I hope some people actually understand this and the whole nonsexual innocent thing.
Spoiler for those who like to deep-dive on their own...
Some of the hidden content that seems to address Yuri, or at least a character very similar to her with a 4 letter redacted name, as being a test subject in Project Libitina. If the dates and age translate to the Yuri in the game then she, the apparent oldest member of the club, is only 17 years old. If this is true then Natsuki would be, at the most, 16 years old.
I'd just typed a long-winded rebuttal featuring Nowi from Fire Emblem as an example of why this trope is wrong, but I'ma just respond with this...
"You see, your honor, the character on my body pillow is actually +1000 years old and is NOT in fact a child!"
We know Dan Salvato designed her this way because all the characters represent a trope usually in these types of games. He focuses more on the "why" than the "what" and I think more people identify with her as a person rather than a fetish, but that doesn't change the trope Natsuki is meant to represent from being the underage-looking girl in a dating sim. I'm not saying Natsuki is a bad character, I'm not saying it's bad for someone to have Natsuki be their favorite character (other than them being wrong, #JustMonika
I literally speak Japanese. ロリの意味が知ってる。自分を馬鹿にしてはやめなさい。
