"get out of my head"
I'm not familiar with depression. Can anyone say what Sayori means with this line?

I imagine she's refering to the MC. Her love for the MC, as he's getting closer to other people, is causing her a lot of grief so she wishes that she could just "get him out of her head" and stop thinking about the whole situation.

It can also be interpreted in a more general sense as refering to negative thoughts going through her mind.

She just.. wants to stop thinking. To just stop the storm going on her head and for once be free to be happy and in peace.

I interpreted it more literally as Monika messing with her thoughts.

Theres two ways to interpret this line I think. Depression comes in many forms, but Sayori gives her type away pretty forwardly. The depression she suffers from is one that automatically assumes the worst in all situations, and reflects back on her own self image.

She thinks her depression makes others worry, so when people know about it, shes upset that she is being a drain on others, even if shes not. She thinks that everything is her fault, even when its not. She knows its not rational, but its like having a voice telling you otherwise all the time. So that could be one possible interpretation of "get out of my head".

Other one is probably just Monika messing with her. Monika has been making Sayori's depression worse both by directly talking to her and also by messing with her character files. In act 2, Yuri mentions multiple times that shes aware that Monika is messing with her and always watching, though she doesnt understand how. They probably have a small amount of awareness around their minds being manipulated.

Depression is like having negative thoughts running through your head in a loop. It's very easy to just sit alone in your room and let the loop continue, and you start to accept the thoughts as fact.

That no one cares. That you make everyone's lives worse. You burden them with concerns and worries.

That's what I got out of it. Her confession to the protagonist likely made the thoughts much worse, as well as Monika's words. She wanted the thoughts out of her head and when she didn't find a way, she sealed her fate.

Because she thought it was the only way to make everyone happy.
