When I try to load my game save file that appears, I cannot play the game anymore and I was trying to find a solution but I couldn't find one. Help please!!

if it fails reinstall the game.

above applies to original game. Not to modded games.

can you post the full error?

Are you new to the game or have you played any mods in the past? If it’s the later and you tried to remove all the mod files individually something may have been left behind, throwing the games function off. It’s not something you can just uninstall and reinstall to fix because uninstalling doesn’t remove any “added” files, such as mods, and when you reinstall you’re just putting the game back into the folders with the mod files.

Whether or not this is the case try a clean install. Uninstall the game using Steam > locate and delete the DDLC folder > reinstall using Steam. If that doesn’t help try downloading the game from the website and playing through the EXE in that destination folder.

I tried changing the idiom for spanish adding a file called scripts.rpa and everything seemed to work fine but after I finish a scene where I'm fastening Sayori buttons and there is Sayori talking with Monika and I trick clicking next to continue the story the game goes to the main menu by itself and doesn´t allow me to continue the story. I also tried creating another save file skipping all the past dialogues and saving but it happens the same and it just returns to the main menu by itself.

Try this mod. Before you do, be sure to uninstall the game using Steam, then locate and delete the DDLC folder (if it still exists), then reinstall the game using Steam. After following these steps for a clean install add this translation mod.

looks like you changed the script in an incompatible way. Try what Tregrenos said and it should work.

hey dude, thank so much! I just created a new game file and start all over but it worked and now I can continue with the story! I guess the problem was that I was playing the game save file that was in english with the new file "scripts.rpa" (in spanish) and probably the game didn't recognize the file because it was saved with the scripts.rpa in english. Anyway, this still being confusing for me xD but now I can continue with the story thank you for that!
