Try verifying the integrity of files through steam

Err, Im sorry I don't fully understand how to do that. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the ame message popped up. If by chance this was something that occured during due to the game, I'll inform you of where I left off before this all happened. After comforting Sayori right before the festival, in fact it was at the beginning of the festival. I decided to stop there and I couldn't play the game. I'll try to solve this myself, unless you, by chance, have had this experience or know someone who went through this experience.

That is strange, the only thing I can think that happened is that the game got caught in a bug by exiting right in the middle of the transition to the act 2.

If you can't find any way to continue, I think you will have to reset the progress of the game, the easiest way to do this is acessing the DDLC files, entering folder "game" and deleting the "firstrun" file, next time you open the game it will ask you if you want to reset the progress or remain it.

Very very strange indeed, I deleted the first run resulting in the same message. I believe the issue may be if Steam is installed, which it should be. I recall something, I was on discord and posted The chr. files for each character. I stopped working after that. When I uploaded the files to discord, the files were missing from the folder. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and the files were back but the game still didn't work. This is very very strange indeed.

Ah, Satisfation. Satisfaction at last. Thanks to you I did delete the first run and it started working again. Maybe posting the chr. files wasn't the cause after all. I guess it just took time and everything is back to normal.
