This would go against what DDLC represents. The protagonist was purposely designed the way he was because by the end of the game DDLC really wants to drive home the fact that the character "you" were playing as is totally unimportant. "Your" character isn't Monikas end-goal. This is one of the clever puns DDLC utilizes that feed off common VN/Anime/Cultural stereotypes IMO. It's not uncommon in dating sims for the main character you play as to be a faceless nobody that's just generic enough that you could put yourself in their shoes. This self-insert position was used in DDLC as a twist in that the character you were putting yourself in the place of was less important than the "REAL you".

As far as mods go there are quite a few of them out there that give the protagonist a face, there are mods that gender swap everyone and there are mods that try to change the story of DDLC to make it more like a general VN and that's absolutely OK. The fact that people actually want to see DDLC become something closer to the genera it represents rather than simply playing another VN shows just how impactful the story and characters were to us. If you want to design a mod like this then you can actually go to the DDLC site and find a great deal of information, tools and guides to modding the game. Otherwise, you could look up the "Python" program. If you get "Monikas After Story" she has a few lessons on how to use Python as well, which I think is a neat little addition.

Again, if you want to make a mod like this then more power to you, but this will never be a cannon thing because it goes against the core story of DDLC.
