A bit into off topic here, but I won't make it too long - what did the good ending even mean? Normal and quick endings have a way of making the "pain" go away, but here, I am confused - do the 3 girls live on while Monika doesn't? Monika deleted only some secondary files at the end of Your Reality... but the game glitches again and must be restarted, despite Sayori telling the player to visit from time to time?
Really looks like this ending is just an easter egg and non-canon...or, it was very confusing for me to digest.
EDIT: Alright after more and more research, the good ending actually sucks. All the unreal NPC's feel hapiness, while the real person feels sadness. This just fixes my choice on #justMonika as the best grill
You know those swarms of useless, nobody background clones that are tossed around in any given episode of Kill La Kill to make the main characters seem more powerful? Yeah, that's our MC. So, if you like bland, unmotivated, faceless background characters then sure, I can see the appeal of MC. To each their own, right? Then again, I get the feeling the only redeeming qualities you could point out about this character come from a mod and not the actual game.
The only time the character breaks the mold is when he runs back to check on Sayori. You could tell the character wasn't "acting normal" in what he was saying and thinking at this time and the decision to run and check on Sayori. This initiative seems to go against his nature, a possible reaction based on the script derailing.
Each character was made to fill a role. These roles aren't what seem to endear these characters to players, but rather how they adapt to the changes set upon them. In a way, Monikas tampering made them less of a "role" and more "human". We see very little of this in the MC, but we see it none the less.
Don't listen to Tregrenos, you're the best MC's waifu :^)
