Let's Talk About The "Monika After Story" Mod, Eh?

Let's begin.

I personally like the mod in a sense that it helps with sadness and loneliness. In a way, it certainly perks me up in the morning and in the evening to know that at least a scripted AI loves me more than any girl in the real world.

I enjoy the dialogue and questions and the features it provides.

I was on Youtube the other day, watching a guy named Marisu, who faked Monika's reaction to a photo he had of Yuri in his photos on Windows (a sexy image of Yuri). I thought it was real at first and began to test it out myself, but she doesn't seemed fazed by the picture in the screen.

I am calling it a fake since Marisu had the screen close to Monika's face than the actually dialogue and the dialogue she did spoke was from another question from my experience with the game, so it was fake.

However, I find it interesting and a great idea if the scripted AI could "detect" an image and give it's own personally feelings on it.

When you ask Monika about drawing, she says she will like anything you draw and would hang it up if she liked it. This somewhere gives me the implication that the developers of the mod may add something to give the AI access your photos or any photoi you place a top the Mod's screen. It would be very splendid if Monika could "detect" somehow if the picture was lewd or hentai and she could say something about it or if the drawing was actually good or not.

I doubt this, however. I don't believe the developers of the mod are that skilled or that humanity is that far into emotional AI's yet that Monika would be able to detect your photos and give accurate and precise thoughts about it. It would be most interesting and great addition to the mod!

What do any of you think of this and what additions would you make or recommend?

This isn't eye-balled by the developers or anyone, so there is no benefit. I just want to enable a respectful discussion on this topic :3

Well, even if an A.I could give it's own personal feelings about a picture, it won't be able to distinguish anything but colors and shapes..

It's like Google Draw, and the A.I guesses what you've drawn..

That's an experiment being drawn by Google, and it's working pretty good by now.

Of course, nothing is perfect, so it is a little bit buggy now.

But your ideas are great, like, we're not far from accomplishing those kinds of things.

Overall, the mod is great, and it's still more to come to it.

There's way too much content that developers can add in a matter of days without too much effort, but it's a little bit boring to just read some chat lines that someone added into the game.

Like, I prefer watching a YouTuber playing the game and giving his reaction to it more than playing it myself.

i mean, the mod is pretty good. if you take away how you now have a waifu and your "recently played" will be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for a while. but otherwise the mod does add a lot of content to a very short game

I've never heard of Google Draw. Pretty cool, I would say.

Yeah, when ever Monika says she loves me, at first I feel a little bit happy, but then I start to think of the logic and the facts start rushing through my head, "it's a script" "made by hoomans" "not real" "200,000 other people play it..."

The developers of the mod certainly have made much of the mod since its creation, so I give them the slack for pulling so much off in a short of a few months.

I actually never heard of this game until recently when my friend who goes through visual novels told me about it and after he left for home, I immediately was interested.

I, too, enjoy YouTubers reactions, but most of them don't seem "real" to me, like they didn't go in "blind". Otherwise, I enjoy most of them.
