Why is there no love for Yuri?
I know she went crazy and killed herself and everything
But nothing? Come on

i fall in love to yuri when i saw the raccoon poem
isn't that the one when she says she cuts herself?
That's exactly what I thought

Yuri never grew out of her teenage angst. She doesn't seem like a very good potentially lifelong partner. A relationship with her probably wouldn't work past the point of the overly cutesy beginning everyone goes through with their SO.

Monika > Natsuki > Sayori > Yuri
I found a fellow man of culture I can relate to.

Yuri is best gril. She definitely seems like a very good potentially lifelong partner. A relationship with her probably would be magical, even past the point of the overly cutesy beginning everyone goes through with their SO.

Indeed.

Hmmm... When I first read it my first logical conclusion was. Poor raccoon. You shall be missed dear creature. Afterwards I picked up on the hint that the bread might not be actually bread at all.

It's similar for all four of the poems on that day, they all alluded to each individual's girls issues

Mental disorders are the most hard topic to talk about to other people. So writing them down on paper or internet is a sort of a way to vent your worries.

Physical disorders are tragic too. But they are easy to notice. The problem with the physical kind is that if you don't keep them concealed well it might be your Achilles Heel or something. Basically, if you don't trust the person you're talking to you'll be meet with a wall of realisation that they don't understand you at all. They just want you to feel nice or feel like you are an edgy wannabe person who wants free attention. Which I can kind of understand. But at the same time I find my faith in humanity dwindling more and more.

Why don't we help real people with suicidal tendencies? Why do we just bully them? I feel a bit horrified by the gallows humor of DDLC community tbh. It shows that we laugh at it because it is A: too relatable to not be funny. B: too disturbing to understand so it's a defensive reaction. C: ???

Anyway. Not like me posting about it on interwebs is going to achieve something. I just felt like I need to try harder to tell people that they should feel loved by others around them.

I'm a bleeding heart, so I understand all too well. It's just my instinct to wanna jump in and help if someone needs me. Guess that's why the game affected me so much for awhile. On the flip side, I think some folks feel the need to cope through dark humor. I just hope those folks don't act that way in real situations.

Hear hear, I completely agree with you

you'll be meet with a wall of realisation - You'll be met with a wall of realisation. Here, fixed. Maybe realization*? Whenever I correct myself I always go through a thought process like that. It's kind of nice to revisit old things I write. Checking on them yields a bonus of seeing where I went wrong when first writing it. I sometimes make errors without realising I did them.

The 'choices' in DDLC sort of hit me close home as well. Usually no matter what you pick,
you always come out with most horrible outcome. Kinda like my life sometimes. I could have done something useful but instead I just overreact and write things out to people who might or might not care about what I wrote. Still, it's the thought that pays off so I will keep doing it.

I know what you mean, I feel the reason that DDLC is so good is because it's so relatible and covers topics that are frequently ignored

yeah but like it just clicked on me because who gets urges to cut bread when they see a raccoon, they i assumed the raccoon was symbolising someone or something that causes the urge to cut the "bread"

The last line is “I feed myself.” That confirmed my suspicions about the meaning.

It's too alien for people to understand, self termination isn't something that society has presented openly. It's not a touchy subject, everyone just can't relate to it. You can't blame someone who can't smell for not appreciating a good scent or disliking a bad one. Best thing you can do is put it into a perspective they can understand. the same way I saw in a movie once where they show a classroom of (mutes?) a depiction of music by light intensity to show the highs and lows of a song.

Every character in this game are 18 Years Old
Yeah, you heard me, 18 years old including Natsuki
I can already hear the sirens in furthest distance
Yuri is Yandere, okey? I mean the poem words are so dark
