Non-horror version

Hi im a great fan of this game and i love the character desing and the story line until the day before the festival can you please make a non-depressing non-horroristic version of it maybe even as a dlc i would definetly buy that one and i know this is meant to be a horror game but still i would love to have this a non horror game if you dont do it its fine aswell just a idea

There is a mod being developed transforming the game into an actual VN. It will keep the dark parts, like Sayori's deppression, Natsuki's abuse, and Yuri's self-harm. It also adds a Monika route. Its funny how most people that decided to play this game wouldn't normally think about playing a normal vn. But once we got to know and grew to love the characters it kind of made us want a good ending for them.
At least that's what happened to me.

And honestly, if you too have completed the game, but don't feel the need to get them a happy ending...
I really wonder what kind of person can be like that... Or I guess there really were "just game characters" to you. All of them

I didnt find the characters lovable and they were just (cheesy) game characters.

They are just too cliche / generic / cookiecutter.

Well I have read that there's people incapable of bonding with fictional characters. Looks like it's not necessarily a bad thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

WIth me I knew that they weren't real, that they are just scripts of code, a character even suggests that. I loved seeing them die, I don't know why, but I loved to know that this wasn't a game where a man woohoos underaged girls. Its a game about the realization that their existence was made for someone else, literally, and the consequences for knowing.

A ddlc mod that plays like a normal VN? COUNT ME IN! Also i tend to wonder what would've happened to the Protaganist after sayori's suicide if monika didn't tamper with the game? I'd imagine he'd later start going mad with grief because of it.
