Just kidding! While the game does create files, it only creates files within its own directory. And the files it creates are "harmless". The character files themselves have nothing to do with the characters in-game, and same with "firstrun". The game simply checks to see if they're there. As for the other files it creates... those are just creepy text files. It's all in the steam directory. If you want to be 100% sure every trace of it is gone, I think there are a few registries it creates (all programs have lots of them). Most uninstalls don't remove the registries. In the start menu, search "regedit", and run it as administrator. Under edit, click "find", and search "doki". Delete the files that are obviously associated, although don't mess with anything else, or you can really mess up your computer. It's not recommended unless you're confident in what you're doing.
Of course, Monika has irreversibly imprinted herself into the hard drive of YOUR MIND. She will haunt your dreams, until death do you part. Psychotherapy is recommended, although sadly it is only a temporary fix. Death is the final solution.
I'm paranoid about any horror game. But espcially games that mess with your system, I have a history with cyber-security and IT, I know what some crafty devs can do.
Heheh. I love your charisma my dood. I think I'll leave the registry files alone. I've heard a rumor that if you try to uninstall the game a jumpscare will happen, I haven't had this happen but is there any truth to jumpscares happening outside of the game?
ahh. Is the major jumpscare the part if you have OBS open and you finish a certain walkthrough then you get jumpscared?
There's also a little jumpscare by Monika if you have OBS running with the game.
I honestly would consider seeing Sayori's dead body a jumpscare.
The music was what scared me the most in this scene, lol.
Oh damn, so the legend is true! I'm so glad I didn't record the game with OBS holy moly, I would need a new pair of pants.
