*SPOILERS* End of game questions / discussion
This has been one of the wildest all-nighters i've pulled for a game in a long time. Just want to start the post off by thanking the creator for this piece of art. It's inspiring, in its own sick twisted way.

As the title notes, major spoilers below.

Reached what I understand to be the end of the game with the letter from Monika. Still just a couple unresolved things left in mind.

First off, when we're talking in the empty-void classroom just before the end, she tells me that i'm not really Elu, and then she drops my IRL name. Where the ♥♥♥♥ did the game get that from. If I hadn't already weathered everything else that tbh was just about enough to get me to forceclose and never look back.

Secondly, I was left a little confused by the very ending. If Monika is deleted from the game, why / how is she able to keep Sayori in check and pull the plug now that she is president of the club? Did I misunderstand that being president of the club is what was giving her power and was how Sayori was about to abuse everything with? And if Monika could delete everything even after being removed why couldn't the other three fight back? It's possible that i'm missing something obvious or just overanalyzing things since I literally just got done playing this all night instead of sleeping but if someone has answers please spell it out for me.

Lastly, I spent my first chapters wooing Sayori and spending my time out with Yuri. Did I miss stuff worth replaying for Natsuki scenes or was it literally just the same thing but diff girl?

All in all I really enjoyed this story and I might buy the fan pack here just to support the dev. Thanks for making this such an interesting and memorable experience.

Can anyone make sense of a certain part in the Libitina Report?

Height 35
Weight 31
BMI 17.8

I tried so many calculations in this and it either makes her VERY OVERWEIGHT OR VERY UNDERWEIGHT. Tried to make all kinds of possible metric or scientific value but the BMI doesnt make sense. The most probable that I can glean on is the Weight as Kg. For a 3 year old it might be overweight but on slightly. The one value that made my head hurt is the height. 35 what? Tried in cm, then converted into foot then it shows extreme obesity. Tried in meters, though how very outlandish 35 meters is, and the end point is severely underweight.

So what in the freaking hell?

Another point I just want to make is that, what if xxxxxx, Libitina are two different people?
As you can see in the last paragraph in the report that Libitina had not yet recovered from xxxxxx's termination. What if they were twins? Or just made at the same time? It is not far off that they were genetically made in a lab. The report is a very professional one and you can only see that in institutions, as mention in the text where they escaped (presumably).

It's height in inches and weight in pounds. That corresponds to a BMI of 17.8 as written, and it's pretty close to the average measurements of a 3 year old baby which are 31lb and 37''.

True, but question still remain's: which of the girls has the last name Libitina? I'll dig up what I can.

I've digged up some stuff, but the hard part is, we need to find out every girl's height, weight and BMI and do some sort of graph, because from the webpage itself, to find out which girl has the last name Libitina, since she's about the age of a high school student, and has already reached 'adult height' as from what I've read. (I could be wrong, though.)

(If you don't want to read all of the things I had to go through to find something out, skip to the bottom.)

I went and converted inches to feet to find out that Libitina (we can call her that for now, right?) is about 3 feet (but the real value I got was 2.91 so do whatever you want with that information), and the average height and weight for a high school girl is 5'4 and 115 lbs.

From Yuri's death scene if you choose 'No', she's slouching
but the chairs seems pretty standard to any Japanese high school, and if her back was perpendicular to the back of the chair, the chair would be an inch or two higher than her head, so I went and looked up 'furniture design' because it was weird typing 'dimensions of a japanese high school chair' on Google and found this nice little PDF file [www.cawspi.org] for it, and found out a couple of things:

- Average height for adults is 5'9
- Standard writing tables are somewhere between 28 by 36 inches to 30 by 40 inches, and chairs are no higher than the middle of our backs; somewhere about 14 to 16 inches high.

Here, we could possibly set a baseline for everyone's heights. As of now, Natsuki is the shortest, and Monika and Yuri are close in height, so, from tallest to shortest:

1. Yuri
2. Monika
3. Sayori
4. Natsuki

Here's proof[i.imgur.com] for the heights

Our character suggests that Natsuki was probably in the first year so (more searching up weird things on the internet), I searched for 'average height for freshman girl' and got two things:

1. Avg. height, which is 5'6
2. Avg. weight, somewhere between 118 and 148 pounds.

Yuri seems to have hit puberty at an early age, and is now at her peak, so her height is a guesstimate of 5'9, the average adult height.
Natsuki seems to be a bit behind, so she's probably in the 4 feet area.
This just leaves out Monika and Sayori.

For me, the contenders for the Libitina name are Monika and Sayori, considering both character's uncontrollable emotions. Although Monika is highly
likely to have Libitina as her last name, there is still room for doubt.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: I redownloaded the game and decided to find a shot with all 4 characters. I found one.

DDLC was built using Ren'Py, which uses python (3, I think) to run.

So getting the user name is a simple 2 line script:
import getpass
getpass.getuser()

It is the same way that Dan was able to delete files and mess around with the directory structure of the game folder. Those things aren't coded in by default in Ren'Py, but using python scripts allow you to do that.

I was actually really impressed, though I was disappointed that my user name on my system is ryanj rather than my full name, because had it been my full name my mind would have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blown. It having been the shortened ryanj made it obvious straight away where it was from.

Still, very very impressive coding in the game.

Honestly, I liked this game when it was like "oh Monika's evil" but then suddenly "oh Monika's the best character", etc.

This is making me realize more and more that it's all just a big ad for a stereotypical horror game Salvato is working on...
I know I am pretty late to this, but in the Sayori death scene, the the a whole month is crossed out, and I believe that it is the month that you join the club, which means that she knew that she wouldn't make it through the month. I just wanted to point it out, because it may mean something.
