[Heavy Spoiler] What does Monika say to Sayori before it happen?
Idk if it have been disscuss or not, I'm to lazy to search keyword. So here it is ...

After the last day, Monika tells something to Sayori then she left literature club early because Monika tells SOMETHING to her that made her left early, then Monika lie to Player that Sayori is sick and the next day protagonist choose to date someone then then Sayori meets player. No metter what answer will be , she will did it on her room the next morning!

What do you think? What does Monika say to Sayori that changes her personality?

I think she said "You will suicide tomorrow no matter what happen, if you not did that your love one will die for exchange!"

I think I touched on this in the other thread, but hey, I can go in more detail!

As Sayori said, she always had chronic depression. Monika didn't just make it appear: The protagonist just simply hasn't ever seen her this way. If you take a close look at Sayori's poems, you can see darker themes in her writing (especially in "Bottles").

It's made even worse with the protagonist's words and actions, not able to connect why she's always oversleeping, why she doesn't dress properly, why she doesn't clean, why she doesn't cook...She simply doesn't care because she already has given up on everything.

What Monika said to Sayori is completely unknown: When the protagonist asks about it, Monika immediately deflects his question and continues going on about the festival. It's safe to assume what Monika said was along the lines of, "The only way you'll make people happy is if you disappear", though, going by Sayori's last words and her poem and more so by the 'special' Sayori ending.

When suffering through depression (especially of the severe variety that Sayori has), your mind is very much open to a lot of negative thoughts and ideas. It wouldn't take Monika (a person Sayori very much trusts, seeing how she's learning from her in regards to poetry) too much effort to fill Sayori's head with dark thoughts.

Monika was trying to be subtle with Sayori, but when the game script started falling apart, she was forced to be a bit more blunt with her actions. I firmly believe Monika didn't modify anything until Sayori's death, when she had no other choice.

Monika was modifying stuff since act 1. All of their problems were aalready being amplified since then and if you check the logs (as shown in Sayori's death), her death was Monika's doing. This is also why in the "good ending", everybody's happy since Sayori wasn't tampering into anything.

I don't believe that's the case!

All the girls already have their demons: Sayori had her depression from the very get go, Natsuki gave hints as to her nightmare of a home life, and Yuri gave hints of her self harm. These things existed well before Monika did anything.

All Monika did was untie the knot. All she had to do with Sayori is just talk to her, before she went all h4ck3rgrrl with Yuri and Natsuki, directly taking control of the game script, and only because the game started to break down due to Sayori's death not being part of the script.

Monika herself says how she tried to be more tactful with Sayori during one of her monologues.

Monika is certainly the core cause of Sayori's suicide, but the events of the game and the protagonist were helping hands.

As for President Sayori, she never modified anything: In the standard ending, she mostly remembers what Monika has done and what her situation is, but in the 'good' ending, she focuses on how hard you tried to make everyone happy, spending so much time with all the characters.

That's all she ever wanted: Everyone to be happy, and in the end, everyone was.
