How many dialogues does Monika have in the end?
So I´m in Monika´s room and want to read all what she wants to say before I delete her or star over

I believe the total is 54, and she can repeat.

If you're really dedicated to hearing all she has to say...haha, you're gonna have to be pretty patient! Not that it's unpleasant...

I haven't actually counted them. But including the read time and the waiting time between them it took me about 1 1/2 hours before she started repeating. Maybe around 30 or so. I think they should keep adding to them so you never could run out.

Here is what she says if you don't want to waste time https://pastebin.com/493R8wLC

That would be so epic and scary if Monika somehow never ran out of new dialogue. :) It was even a little immersion-breaking for me when she started repeating. But of course someone has to write all that dialogue so it's absolutely understandable that it has to repeat at some point. ;)

And I'm just talking about the vanilla game right now and not mods.

Really a great game. I gladly paid for DDLC+.

Back when the original DDLC released I’d purchased the soundtrack because I saw it as more of an investment toward future Team Salvato projects. This is why I purchased DDLC+ and its soundtrack as well, though I’ve listened to the + soundtrack more as it’s a good wind-down after work and the bonus content of + was worth the price tag in the end IMO.

After half an hour in Monikas reality I began to question myself if this is about to end on it's own or if I actually have to change the files (I mean she gave some hints but I didn't wanted to break the game or screw anything up). After an hour I decided to have a quick look in the forums and this thread saved me from actually spending an eternity with Monika, oof. Now I wonder which dialouges I missed, but I am not motivated for waiting this long again :'3

Monika actually is quite nice towards the player. Even if you don't get what to do I think it is one of the most funniest situations to be stuck in a game ever. *lol*

When talking about her past and the other characters there's also a sense of regret, like when she mentioned Yuri bringing wine to class only to repeat "they weren't real" at the end of the story. This wasn't so much meant as a reminder to "us" that they weren't real, but rather Monika reminding "herself" that they weren't real. We know after deletion that Monika immediately regrets her actions, but seeing she wasn't so forgone that she still couldn't NOT see them as people in the end despite knowing they were only digital shadows of people she thought she knew is a very humanizing trait to her plight.

It's conversations like this that lead me to believe that Monika had altered her own file to emotionally distance herself from them. That she knew she didn't have it in her to delete them, but after seeing what happened to Sayori it's something she knew she had to be prepared to do. Even after making these changes to herself she still couldn't go through with fully deleting them, but rather moving their files into an inaccessible area. After deletion Monikas personality reverts back to her base personality, the one we initially meet at the beginning of the game. These are my theories on the matter at least.

That's an interesting theory for sure!
