Have you tried it?
Oh, boy. I'll try it soon. Will it permanantley delete the files or will it restore itself if you start a new game?
But those edits in the first arc/chapter will have simple but permanent effects. So pretty short so it's worth doing after finishing the game.
In addition, if you delete Sayori yourself in the first arc and try to start up the game, it will say end, with sayori hung and a static effect. If you have just sayori, the other characters sans Monika will get added back.
Interestingly, I tried this out, the two characters that have to be there are Monika and Sayori. Nothing happens when the others are deleted upon startup, but apperently things happen through the playthrough if you do that...(?) I haven't encountered anything like that myself.
If you delete all characters it immediately jumps to a picture of Sayori hanging and the words END.
Sayori surely loves to HANG OUT
