[SPOILERS] Picture in the credits

I'm not sure if this necessarily counts as a spoiler, but in the credits, there's a distorted picture of what I assume to be Monika when her voice comes up and is preparing to sing the song she wrote. I played the game through all three girls' routes and also got the happy ending with the developer's note, but the picture is still distorted. I understand it's probably distorted because Monika is just data at that point, but I'm wondering if there's a normal version of that picture. I tried looking at the files, but I'm not aware how to deal with .rpa files. If anyone knows or can try, let me know! I would love for there to be another CG of Monika considering she only has one.

It kinda looks like the picture from DDLC's title screen? What little I can make out of it, anyway.

I don't think it's a brand new picture, sadly.

Really? Looks like I have to play again just to make sure, but that's kinda sad if that's the case. One thing that bothered me about the 'perfect' ending the most was that Monika was not included. They talked about making everyone happy, but Monika is still gone even after she redeemed herself.

It can not be found in its undistorted form in the game files!
I am actually glad Team Salvato store opened when it did, because I was just about to try to painstakingly unscramble that picture in Photoshop, lul

Oh wow that's actually really cool. It's nice to see even just a little more love for Monika, and it's a poster no less. Thanks for sharing and for letting me know that they had a shop with merch! Also, thanks for the video. I'm a huge fan of finding cool easter eggs and secrets. Finding out that this game actually had a couple hidden stuff in the files themselves just makes me want to learn more about decoding and reading different files, so this is really neat.

Unpacking archives will only get you so far. In order to really dig deep into the game, you'll need to decompile the scripts by placing this file into the "game" folder, then launching the game. Use notepad++ to view the .rpy files that appear in the "game" folder as a result of this. If that's the sort of thing you enjoy, you're in for a ride!
