Weird glitch with OBS?

Hello. I'm recording footage of DDLC, and I noticed that there's an odd glitch with certain effects that occur on screen. The screen goes completely black during these effects.

Granted, it's not the biggest deal, but does anyone happen to know how to fix this? I'm not even sure where to begin looking in regards to fixing this issue.

I...dunno if that's the case! It's only during static effects.

It's oddly specific, and I dunno what causes it.

I'm on WIndows 10, and I'm using Windows Capture on DDLC. Maybe Game Capture would work better?

Actually, seems to be a problem entirely on it's own. It's doing this even when OBS isn't running.

I have no idea. Tried reinstalling, verifying files...I dunno what else to check outside of downloading the non-Steam version.

I've tried running the itch.io version and sadly the same thing happened when my data was imported.

...If this is intentional, I have no idea how to handle it.

During late game my sceen display feed seemed to cut off too again and again too while using OBS to stream. I was worried it was my monitor (and I realize it's not the game's intention because Steam's FPS counter disappears too) -- it's a full on display signal loss.
