Team Salvato is doing something. DDLC is only the start.

We all went through the story.
(And if you haven't quit reading this and finish the damn game.)

And we have seen what happened. A girl named Monika had sentience and tried to be with you, doing various horrible things. She regretted what happened and tried to let you be with the other girls. Then Sayori started to ruin things, so Monika had to put an end to the club. And that's all she wrote.

Or is it?

As many of you know, the chr files can be renamed to other formats in order to find pictures, audio files, etc.

And through these, we can see that something is going on. Something much bigger. And Doki Doki Literature Club is only a small part of that plan.
I would explain, but the DDLC wiki does a better job than I could.

I would post links to the wiki's articles on the .chr files and about the Project, but steam deletes those links. Just search in google for the wiki and look around.

So Doki Doki Literature Club is a way of teasing this future project. Everything that happened in the story, with Monika, with Sayori, with the club... All of it barely even has to do with that the team is doing. But it served as a way to introduce something to us.

Something is happening. Doki Doki Literature Club was only an experiment. There is a much bigger story going on, something even larger than Monika and The Club. We need to figure out more about this Libitina girl, and what Team Salvato is planning.

This could be a story about a psychic weapon. A girl being experimented on with supernatural abilities. Just like Monika, if not worse. The picture from Natsuki.chr could be Libitina herself. it could be someone or something closely connected to her.

Plus, the "Third eye" is something prevalent throughout all of this. Whatever this third eye is, it's something bad.

Hell, if Yuri.chr's document ties into this, then this entire ordeal could be something much worse. If the document is talking about Libitina, than that could only mean one thing. She is dangerous.

And the book Yuri was reading: "Portrait of Markov". It has an eye symbol on the front, and refers to a human experimentation camp. Doesn't Project Libitina's document sound like a human experiment?

However, the only thing we can do is wait. "2018", said Monika.chr's document. We just have to wait for Team Salvato to release the next game. At least, I think it is a game.

From here on however, we do have things to watch out for. If Team Salvato or the members of said team post, release, or talk about ANYTHING... Analyse it. Look for more possible mentions of Libitina, or the Third Eye. Try to see if anything can be decoded further.

This is an ARG Team Salvato is starting, and we are going to see it through.

Perhaps the next thing they release will be another game. Hell, it may not even be an anime visual novel. It could be a pixelated RPG or something. Nevertheless, keep an eye out for anything with Team Salvato's name on it.

We need to solve this mystery.

Well, I mean, it's end of November, something has to come soon.
Something I think Dan would do is if he was late making the game, he would change the message from the QR code to say "2019".
Dan Salvato would do that.
But we need to stay patient, it will come soon. Come on guys. You can make it.

I'm guessing that something will happen on the 1st of January, 2018, as that is the date of birth listed on the Project Libitina website.

Either Salvato is slow on updating things or this whole new game thing is bogus.

Though I wonder, if they DID make another game like DDLC, would it take place after the events of this game or would we have something like Deltarune where it's similar to DDLC, but not quite in the same universe as it?
