Code? (SPOILER)
Has anyone figured out a way to fix the code that is messed up when sayori dies. I know nothing about code, but that stuff wouldn't be in the backround if it wasn't important, I mean it tells you the specific lines that are messed up.

Nothing is messed up. It is working as intended.

Start a new game!

HINT HINT

EDIT: Also, use spoiler tags. Sayori dying is supposed to be a major part of the game that people shouldn't be spoiled on.

I finished the game lol, but I mean I feel like there is some extra content there for someone who has the skill/knowledge
Also, how do I edit in spoiler tags

Oh. So you finished all arcs, including being stuck in a place all weekend and having to dig around in the game files to proceed the game, got the credits to roll, and heard the song, then?

Because frankly, if you were past all that, I figured you wouldn't be blaming that scene for breaking the game.

Opening the local file and deleting "firstrun" should initialize everything, and give you the option to restart the game from scratch.

Yeah I get that, but re-installing, or delting the firstrun file is not what I am getting at, I'm just wondering about the possiblity of extra content if you "Prevent" her death from happening in the first place, I mean the traceback file seems to be obviously meant for something other than just looks

Because neither of the 2 endings could be considered "good', and while the inclusion of a 'Good inding is not necessary, it would be interesting to see one that was difficult to obtain.

There isn't. Any coding-related stuff the game shows you is completely fake, it is there to create an illusion of the game being actually broken.

It is all just for show, sorry to burst your bubble.
CliffordTBRD Nov 2, 2017 @ 8:25pm
But how do you know? If I understood any of that more advanced stuff I would do it myself, I just can't see why they would tell you in the traceback file specifically what line of code in the file is broken. Like the game files are meant to be explored, just open the files as a notebook and you will see. Some files that are deeper in, and seem unrelatid actually contain messages, and even imply that you are meant to be searching through them.

Thats truly scary is when you look at the caracter file and read the tracing

If you look at the start of the scrips.rpa there's a weird text, that says the following:

Beneath their manufactured perception - their artificial reality - is a
writhing, twisted mess of dread. Loathing. Judgment. Elitism. Self-doubt.
All thrashing to escape the feeble hold of their host, seeping through every
little crevice they can find. Into their willpower, starving them of all
motivation and desire. Into their stomach, forcing them to drown their guilt in
comfort food. Or into a newly-opened gash in their skin, hidden only by the
sleeves of a cute new shirt.
Such a deplorable, tangled mass is already present in every single one of them.
That's why I choose not to blame myself for their actions.

My opinion on this:
This is Monika's hatred in pure sight. She knows the other girls are just programs, but she also hates the bias that turned into what they are. It is a harsh take on consumer society.

But also, if you go way to the bottom, you can find the same story as in the Yuri.chr file coded in Base64 (there's another thread for that).

Please do not provide instructions for decompiling or otherwise ripping/providing from game files. I have deleted quite a few comments here.
