When does the horror part begin?
I have a case of horror blue balls right now.

I decided to go down the Sayori route since that one made the most sense to me (Not going with the weeb girl, not really interested in the cliche shy girl route). Went to her house to hear the same depression story I have heard 100 times. I chose Natsuki because Yuri weirded me the ♥♥♥♥ out. Licked her fingers. Decided I had enough of this rediculousness.

I thought it would be somewhat like Spooky's house of jumpscares Jumpscare Mansion, where it was cutesy at first, but then soon got a little creepy, then REALLY creepy.

But so far I feel like I got tricked into reading a standard anime visual novel, but without the softcore porn.

Also, why do I have to play the character who is ridiculously horny? I mean seriously, you just went to console your best friend who is now becoming your lover, yet you are still drooling over the little girl coming over to your house to bake cupcakes?

TL; DR Now that I got the rant out of the way, am I CLOSE to the spooky part? Because I don't have the patience to sit through another damn conversation about poems or sexual confusion.

Do I have to sit through the festival? Does it get spooky in the festival? Because seriously, the finger licking just made give up on the game with how stupid it was for the MC to do that, considering where he was just at 10 minutes prior.

If you are at the day of the festival you are literally like 20 lines of dialogue away from the meat of the game.
Regarding the finger licking - you are playing a self-admitted, deliberately tacky visual novel, albeit well written. That's just how it is.

If you're that irritated I'd also suggest you take a break afterwards.

Well there's no festival, that's a hint.

you are about 5 minutes away from the true beginning of the game

Why are you on a thread discussing when the horror part of the game begins then?

If all you want is horror this is not the right place to look anyway

You really should have kept reading on your own, man. Asking for this information will cheapen the fun part when it happens.

You're close. Seriously. Stick with it.

You just have to wait until a certain thing happens and after that..well that's when the disturbing stuff happens. Just continue playing the game, You are like really close to the part where they start getting weird.

It's really not one of those horror games where you play for a bit and get jumpscared a dozen times. The game is most effective if you take the time to learn the characters and read the dialogue.

The horror is most effective when you can relate to what is going on. Rushing through to get to the 'scary parts' isn't really how it works.

Adding to that, "jumpscare games" aren't even horror games to begin with.. They're just masquerading as such..

edit; this game probably shouldn't have been advertised as psychological horror at all.. It would have been far creepier that way.
