Multiple endings?

I got a somewhat anticlimatic and bad ending.

Are there different endings? how to achieve them?

turned into a flesh pod? same here. and when i got all the achiments i just assumed that was the whole game.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

Yep, im almost on the starway to heaven or to whatever trascendent place ahead, but then the "parasite thing" returns and assimilates me just at the gates of triumph.

Like you get busted just when you´re almost there, after all the trouble.

Im into dramatic endings, but this was a real letdown for no reason (any monster could kill you anytime, so getting busted by one just one step before reaching "heavens" is kinda silly, imo). Somehow ruined it for me.

Game is linear from A to B (except the irrelevant choice at the beginning). That's it, sadly.

I would want to see so much more of this world and the habitants of it, the history and philosophy of what is and has transpired in the world of scorn.

so would we all, but the devs though a 4 hour snap shot of the main characters life was a story. but its really not
