Scorn
I don't understand...
I don't understand people who hate this game. From the first gameplay videos it was clear that the game is more about style and atmosphere than gameplay. I'm happy with it. Be like me.

I was hoping it would have all of the above. I mean, the gameplay is fine really, if you're into slow puzzle solving in a beautiful yet dead environment and no music.

Yeah I guess it's just not for everyone. Happy I didn't buy it but used game pass to try it.

"slow puzzle solving in a beautiful yet dead environment and no music" - it was obvious, wasn't it? I'm not talking about the demonstration of the epilogue in most streamers... If you didn't know about it, it's only your fault. You yourself overestimated your expectations of the game

I would have liked the puzzles to be more intuitive. The one in the second area, I would have never figured it out if it wasn't for this board. Cause the thing I had to interact with, just looked like part of the environment, and didn't have a marker like everything else.
The game never told me that mechanic was even an option, so why would I go to X place that just looked like the environment, when it gave me no reason to go there? There wasn't even like, a hallway or something, to temp me to step there.

I don't feel like I'm figuring things out, I feel like I'm exhausting all possible options until one thing works.

It seems to me that this level design (or intuitiveness, as you like) is a tribute to old-school games. For me, it's more of a plus than a minus. As in Myst. There's a huge lack of games like that these days.

If there's a huge lack of games like that these days, then they probably should have advertised that better, cause it's not what a lot of people are expecting.
I can appreciate that people enjoy this type of puzzle game, but I really don't.

Their brains are like: oooo gun ? Must go pew pew pew.
And then they play it and get all mad.
And SCORN has been declaring for some time that it's not a shooter, but they just won't listen.

there's creepy and eerie music after the first puzzle era. Definitely helps with the atmosphere and certainly gives me the heebie jeebies
