This is to show the developers what we want for the future game scorn 2 or scorn 3.

List your suggestions.

Chances are, I'll like Scorn and want a sequel, but FFS, lets wait for the first one to come out so we know what actually needs to be improved and any interesting directions that were left unexplored.

It will be a complete product with no scope for a follow up. It only began because someone had a bright idea about making money through the Alien style artwork then realized they were way out of their depth. Microsoft bailed them out but I think the devs got a spanking they won't want to go through again.

That might be true, and while it might be dissappointing, I can understand it. Surreal ♥♥♥♥ like this rarely gets sequels, it's just the nature of the beast. Go too far beyond of what humans can comfortably associate with, and you basucally get a pretty art project.

Proof? Do you have a link or something? If not then it is always possible and If a developer did say something, it doesn't mean they might not come back to it at some point in the future unless they sell ip for it.

Proof is there on their Kickstarter they make it clear that there will be no DLC or sequels but hey se Dev's have said spooderman won't ever come to PC but look at them now. So maybe there could be a sequel.

That was true at the time because the Spooder factory closed down leading to the infamous Spood crash of 2001.

Natural Spood is a rare commodity and the price was prohibitive. Last year another Spood mine was found by spelunkers looking for Unobtanium in the Mole People city so The Stock Market started buying Spood shares again.

That isn't how trailers work. You criticizing it is how it works. Or you wouldn't be here in this thread or anywhere in this game form as your brain criticize it and your brain apparently likes it enough to bring you here.

Also my thread is for suggestions for the next scorn 2 or scorn 3. So not sure why you or other people keep bumping it up but apparently you do want another game or you wouldn't be bumping this topic up.

Anyways no worries when game is out, this thread will get bumped alot because you can't have duplicate threads and people, young or old will be thinking will there be a sequel and then the flood gates open and this thread gets bombard by users till scorn developers state something when they lock it or If they keep it going which they might keep it going because what developer doesn't like to hear suggestions which in turn could make them to make another game if they like the suggestions. But thanks for reading my topic though.

Your sarcasm isn't needed but

No game has ever made it past three or five yet but gears of War is almost there.

most likely we would get a second one depending on how the game ends.

No game in history has ever did 8 sequels only 2 to 4 but a ending doesn't mean we will get one right away, only thing it means is the door is still left open just waiting for the moment the developers see fit to add something to continue it.

But however games have tons of reboots and remasters. And because scorn isn't on PlayStation, the developers could do a version where it is. As it will gain them more money including whom ever their publisher is.

But currently tied with Microsoft, PlayStation may not see it for awhile unless Microsoft decides to play nicely.

Also you wouldn't be able to preorder a sequel when the game isn't out yet. That ain't how it works. The game comes first then after a while, the sequels start rolling in.

Every developer doesn't just abandon the game, they typically leave doors just like movies or books do, waiting for the moment to continue it or a new pair of eyes does it for them, if they sell the rights to the game, movie or book.

But every gamer when they like the game expects sequels, remasters, reboots. Skyrim gotten 7 and everytime people buy it even though it still the same game with some minor differences, I hated the anniversary edition though but this post isn't about skyrim just using that as a example.


But this thread is for those who want one, when game is released, and we can share our ideas for the upcoming scorn and the developers can see our ideas and decide if they want to add them or not or may inspire them to make another one.

And this is exactly why games fail. People are too hyped and have too high expecations and before this game is even out you want a second one? What if this game has 30% negative reviews when it comes out huh?

People are already disappointed from what they have seen. Maybe wait till its out, patched and see the reviews?

Reviews mean nothing. Just because some people dont like it doesn't mean others don't. So take your negatively else where please. Because this thread is for people who want one. And a game doesn't fail or die just because it didn't meet someone's expectations.
