Similar games to Scorn?
I've been looking for games with the same concept, you walk, explore do puzzles etc. The only one I've played which is kinda similar is ''The solus project''. Anyone has any other ideas?

Inner Chains is very similar, I think, and can be bought real cheap, but it's not very polished and never got fixed by the developers. Check it out.

Lust from beyond might be similar enough for your taste, they have a 2 free prequels to see if you like it. The game is better than the prequels, but it give you an idea about the setting (which takes place between this world and an alternative one).

Sorry mate, I had no idea it was set to "Friends only". I have changed to "public" now.

100% SOMA is the best answer. I'd also recommend Tormentum - Dark Sorrow for a game with a very similar art style inspired by the same two guys: Zdzisław Beksiński and H.R. Giger. https://store.steampowered.com/app/335000/Tormentum__Dark_Sorrow/

If you're looking for something that immerses you into an alien world inspired by the works of Beksinski and Giger, then the short answer is no. Longer answer: there are a few games that superficially copy the art style, but nothing that actually does anything creative with it or engages with the themes of the actual art.

Most of those games are terrible anyway. The "twist" at the end of Tormentum is just insulting cliche and uninteresting. Pretty pictures tho. Wish they still sold the artbook.

I regret backing Scorn due to the many times Ebb dropped the ball. Releasing an unfinished game, taking away the gorgeous artbook PDF that I paid for... I'm never giving them another cent and I hope they go out of business.
