Reminds me of Lunar Software the guys who are working on Routine.
I would keep an eye out. Because this isn't a good look if it continues.
They probably sell the cut content as dlc next and then make another interactive tour through their art gallery, eh sorry I mean "adventure" game ;)
They are working on it and releasing updates; this is already a lot more than many other companies do. My hope is that there will be content additions in the future, however, right now, clearly, they are focused on polish above all.
Plus, they do write "stay tuned for future updates" in their patch notes. So clearly, this isn't the last update this product gets.
It's pretty funny how suddenly all of those throwaway accounts appear with past comments written in cyrillic lettering. 😅
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Cyrillic_alphabet
Also most companies are able to advertise their games without false advertisement and without charging twice the amount of money comparable titles like Soma, Amnesia or Firewatch go for. So dont give us that "They are already doing more than any other company would do"
They do not even answer critical questions at all on their social media (twitter, kickstarter, steam, reddit), they only reply to positive posts.
He only has 1 comment in Cyrillic, and it's not in Serbian, that's not what Serbian looks like. It's in Russian or Ukrainian I think. And he's basically telling the other person "Learn English."
So, no indication this cryohellinc user is Serbian. Maybe he's another type of Slav (I am another type of Slav, lol.)
But even if he was Serbian, so what? It's very natural to want to support a game developer from your own smaller country. Especially when the game isn't that bad at all. I remember back when the first STALKER was dismissed as a buggy mess, but then it became a cult classic game.
He is russian.
ю and й are part of the russian cyrillic script, not the serbian one.
But both countires have very good relationships.
This guy is definitely super protective about the game. To the point that he makes really ridiculous claims like:
EBB literally charged us with 40 $ for a 5 hour long walking sim, falsely advertised it over multiple years as non-linear horror adventure and doesnt even reply to any critical questions on their social media at all and he still has the audacity to claim that "they do more for their playerbase then most other companies" .
And it shouldnt matter where a game is made. The only thing which should matter is the quality of the game.
