Leader and Medic can minimize their deck and basically cast unlimited energize on the entire team. leader can fear, confuse lock the entire enemy team every turn forever.
and medic can boost Bruiser damage ungodly high so he can wipe the entire enemy team out with 1 attack.
Medic adrenaline Booster and the way he gets additional medic cards after a medic card is played makes a gigantic loop. Same with the leader except he doesn't energize himself but others. Medic can energize himself and others.
I've seen people have like 17 energizes on each character per turn. But its not needed when Leader fear/confuse locks everyone and the medic also boosts Bruiser damage to like 300%. He wipes the entire team in 1 hit.
Then there are 2 and 3 leaders teams. Leader, Bruiser, Technician teams. There are so many broken combinations in this game. Of course I played it blind and there not much info on it. So I didn't realize how broken combat is to like level 6 or 7.
Hell even Leader, Medic, Scrapper would be OP. It just the way they get endless energizes and extra cards in deck or recycle. Once you have small hands its impossible to not have your entire hand every turn.
I hope they keep trying to balance the game. So much potential here.
I did not take things to such an extreme as the guys above, so my Leader was also a secondary damage dealer, but it worked good enough for me if the Bruiser got disabled/rooted
I find myself that medic is a too good option in longrun, because u cant maintain shield 100%, whereas you can boost hp waaaay above normal pool. Plus adrenalins very useful.
Leader is my buff-debuff + dmg. He is too good to not take with all mental abilities.
Scrapper - only dmg dealer, and really good one, having both melee and firearm helps out. Dirty punch, explosive to reduce armor, aim shots, radiation shots, etc etc etc - even tankies enemy fall down in 3-4 turns.

This is a very old thread with no relevant information as the game has changed too much in the years since.
They probably meant the Tracker.
The ability to give draw/dmg/init/cards as a buff, while also having a chance to self buff at the same time creates an unlimited power loop.
