Probably the most annoying is smoke bomb or something (black mist?) which is a temporary -50% ranged miss but that has no effect on melee and also affects the enemy as well as your team. Only used by one specific type of enemy so I just focus them down or otherwise disable them before they use it.
That's not to say you won't sometimes grind your teeth when that 20% dodge chance works 3 times in a row when the enemy has only 1hp left but thats rare. Having played both this and Darkest Dungeon I find the combat in this much more sensible and the gameplay more pleasant. RNG is in effect but not to the same extent.
- Use a ROOTED effect (Razor net probably the only one right now)
- Get ACCURATE on one or more of your character (Perception enhancer buff card or a modifier in a weapon core or extension)
- Use something like Tracking Shot and make all attacks ACCURATE against the target (requires you to hit the target with the Tracking Shot)
- If your characters are afflicted by a miss chance debuff you can remove that with a PURGE card like Hard Reset or Purify.
- If your characters are afflicted by a Ranged miss chance debuff, you can just use melee attacks instead and ignore the miss chance.
So there's definitely a bunch of tools to bypass miss chances.
