Get your face in the game - Story time!
The contest is over!

First of all let me thank you all for your amazing stories and experiences that you shared with us! We read through them all and it was really hard as hell to determine which one to choose as the winners. Even if we did not choose you as the winner dont be sad! We are planning on doing more contests like this in the future so there will be another chance :)

And now can I get a drum roll please?

The winners are:

Prolapse_Reaper
Smands
AdorableBabyDemon

Congratulations guys! We will need your photos so please either add me on Steam or send an email to dan@1cpublishing.eu with your face photo. If you also have a photo that is stylized please also send that one too :) The photo will get to the talented artist behind DSD and he will let you know his idea about adding you to the game. If you have any thoughts or ideas about your face/character please let me know :)

________________________________________________________________________
Have you ever wanted to see your face in a game? If your answer is YES, then now is your chance! The only thing you have to do is to write about your most exciting, nerve wracking or surprising moment you have experienced in Deep Sky Derelicts so far. That is all! We will pick three of you to have your own face in the game as one of the characters! Please share your stories here.

There are just two simple rules:

1) For the game to have a consistent tone we might need to have some creative freedom to make your face more DSD friendly. Of course you will be part of the creative process so you get exactly the face you like (and a face that is still yours).
2) If you don't feel comfortable with sharing a picture/photo of your face, you can write us a description of what type of character and face you would like to have in the game and we will create it based on what you will give us.

We prepared a little illustration of what we mean. Please keep in mind that this example is a bit more detailed and less stylized than what we have in the game.

I was deep in the first Derelict with my healthy team of three, geared up throughout many encounters and searches. It went really smooth. Spare batteries (30 energy each) in the backpack - no need to double back. Was low on energy, still decided to try to clear the wrecked ship in one go. Upon using first battery - instead of 30 I only got 2 energy. This totally shocked me - was sure it must be some kind of a bug. Used another one, then another - ended up spending all and getting a total of 12 energy. MY team was thrown in a panicked run to the shuttle, just to die somewhere along the way. Next game I figured that I used wrong mouse button to 'use' batteries. And now three brave Derelict explorers are dead because of my mistake. Never again was the game so smooth, with awesome loot dropping on my team like christmas gifts. I think that upon seeing my deed, the gods of loot have forsaken me...

This is a short story to express the exact moment I fell in love with Deep Sky Derelicts.

Just One More
by Retch E. Rezzed

Our medic Darla, Bruiser named Harvey and I lead my team through another forsaken spacecraft and told that we were to deliver a message to someone operating there.

Experienced, well-traveled, and armed to the teeth. We were ready. We headed to the closest system: Dustess

"Gimme somethin' to wreck!" spat Harvey, while munching on his two complimentary cookies provided by the Express service.

Darla only smirked as she knew this was one of our more dangerous assignments. A few knuckle cracks later, and I knew she'd be the right person for the job.

Several encounters later, we found the person who we were looking for and gave the message that they needed to hear. They nodded, and we started to head back.

"Piece of cake," I said, lifting my arm to my face to plan our next move; my face glowing ever so slightly.

We open our map to glance at our PDA to map out our route to the exit. After several minutes and various combination routes later, we found that there was only one possible route that would lead us to the exit without any encounters.

"Just one more," I choked under my breath.

Our medic gasped her last breath underneath the trappings irreverent neon glow. Harvey fell quicker than I'd seen anyone fall; lifeless and still.

Exactly what sort of leader leads his team into certain death? A bad one. Now it was down to just me.

Little did I realize that when our energy readings flashed a silent "0", which meant we were already dead. One step from freedom, one step from death. Perhaps this journey had been ill-planned, after-all.

Moments flashed before my eyes; be it memories or fantasy, I did not know. We were all left to rot in a fetid, decrepit derelict.

Though, I can say for certain that one good thing came out of this mission:

We'd die doing what we loved most, and that love led us to explore the silent and beautifully foreboding spaceships in the deepest skies of black.

Hello there! English is not my native language so I'm sorry for mistakes. Dont want to share my photo right here so if you will pick my story, contact me via steam and I'll send it to you.

____

A soft sound of someone's steps makes Ivanov to head up.

— Found anything?

Chainsaw, their tracker, appears nearby.

— No way, — she says. — No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way.

— Told ya! —Ivanov laughs nervously. — I'll die here.

— Look from the other side, Ivanov: we won't have to pay your medical bill on station. We'll save some money. Good news after all.

— Oh, thank you, Saw. You're best.

— Stop it, guys, — the voice of Banshee is soft and calm as always. — Our shields are good, we have some energy. We'll figure it out.

— There are two big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worms in next compartment, if you don't remember. Tell me, how you figure they out! We're doomed.

— So optimistic, — Chainsaw's face is covered, but Ivanov is sure: this ♥♥♥♥♥ is smiling, just like her stupid tracker's helmet. — Such a little scared bruiser. How did you ever live to your age, uh?

— I've seen them before — Ivanov says stubbornly. — With my old crew. And that time we lost two of us. They were professionals, not like you, Saw.

— Well, it means they were not.

— We have to go, — says Banshee. — The ship won't wait for us forever. And we can do it.

— I'm bleeding, alright?

— I know, Ivanov, — Banshee stands up and switches on her shotgun. — Just stay out of the battle. I have the plan.

— The plan!

— Shut up and trust me. I'm your leader after all.

The door to next compartment opens slowly. The beast are sleeping — but Ivanov knows their sensitive ears. One loud step is enough to wake them, but Banshee is not in a hurry to do come in. She stands near the door and cry.

The sound is nothing Ivanov ever heard. The wave of fear rolls over his body, he wants to run — far, far away, to disappear in the corridors of this damned derelict. He wants to die — anything but not to hear this any second more. But then he sees the beasts.

Sensitive ears plays bad joke with them: monsters clatter desperately to the compartment, braking the furniture and accidentally hit each other.

— Chainsaw, shoot! — Banshee cries.

And Chainsaw shoots. Two times are enough — the tracker clearly did her best. The monsters fall at the floor with a loud and deaf sound. The way is clear.

— I always wonder, how did you get your name, Banshee, — says Chainsaw. — Now I know.
— Don't talk much at station about you've seen.

— You mean "you've heard", — Chainsaw laughs loudly but stops when Banshee turns to her side. — Okay, I got it.

— Let's go already, — asks Ivanov, but Chainsaw shakes her head.

She steps to the dead beasts and kicks one's body. The energy blade appears an her arm.

— Time to look into their rich inner world, — says Chainsaw, ripping off the wurmling's belly. — Hope I'll find something good. Ivanov is still alive so we'll have to pay for his treatment, remember?

Hello. English is not my native language as well, so I apologize for the mistakes. Also, in my story I made a proposal for a new character class. I hope you enjoy this and you use it in the future. My photo in Steam Profile may be used as character`s portrait.

--------------------

I can not say that I liked this place. It`s just a temporary shelter for people like me. However, I did not have another place to miss. In my faded memories, there were only brief
flashes: the crimson sky, the cracked soil and the burning evacuation shuttle... That's all I remember about my home. I wandered for a long time and was not a special person.
To make a living, I was doing minor repairs. Everything is breaking down equally: both the energy supply system and human life. The station was gloomy and I did not feel any hope there. But it was quiet there. There was no peace, but there was no hostility either. It suited me.

On the way to the Lair, I stopped at the observation deck. Looking into the open mouth of the airlock, I thought: "How long will we be able to see the light of these long-extinguished stars"? But I dismissed these thoughts from myself. Soon I will go on my first adventure - one guy from the research institute appreciated my ability as a repairman when I patched up his spacesuit. I was offered a technical assistant position and I agreed without hesitation. Now I had a little spare time in reserve to have a drink.

The Lair. There was usually crowded, and visitors solved their business in the shadows. But not today for some reason. However, something interested me more than booze.
In the far dark corner, there were two mysterious figures. I immediately recognized experienced adventurers. First, middle-aged man with short dark hair, dressed in a technician's suit. He looked younger than his age but his eyes were tired. Although, his equipment interested me even more. This man did not have any Core Shield, his tool was clearly custom-made, something between medical and scavenging device; battered power glove on the left hand and an enigmatic book in the right. The second person was a woman. Young and beautiful, she had long dark hair with a straight bangs and piercingly bright blue eyes. She also had a pretty unusual equipment: two power gloves with built-in shield generators. Her high boots were lined with metal as well. It seems that she was skilled in the martial arts. Numerous scratches on her clinging ceramic armor showed the same.

"Hey, stop staring at us, kid." the woman said. "Come here instead."

Well, it was impolite of me, indeed. So I went to strangers to apologize. But the man was ahead of me.

"Name`s Kowlaq. And this is Electra. Please join us." he said with friendly gesture.

I had no objection. At the same time, I ordered us a drink.

"I see you are thirsty for adventures! In a way, I envy you." Kowlaq said. Electra chuckled skeptically.

I felt that man wants to share his story. So I drank silently and allowed him to continue. And so, Kowlaq began his monologue...

"My first outing! I will never forget this. I was young, naive and full of hopes. My life was developing quite well, and I could choose any occupation. But there is something in the distance, in the depths of space ... Among the shadows of asteroids and the dust of melting comets ... It always called me. Of course, I was just a guy. I started working at the docks. From time to time I was doing errands for mercenaries to make acquaintance with the right people ...
In the end, perseverance and dedication have done their job: I was hired as a loader operator on salvaging ship named `SpaceMole`."

Kowlaq looked at the woman and said:

"Electra was there too, as a pilot."

The woman's face darkened suddenly. She squeezed the glass tightly in her hand. It seemed that the glass is about to break. But Electra just sighed, then took a deep sip and loosened her grip. The tension in the air subsided, and the narrator continued.

"I was very worried during the docking with derelict ship: delight and anxiety mingled in my soul. Wrath Simmons, the bruiser and team leader, personally led his people. He rushed into the open hatch knocking down rusty security drones. Koichi and Odd Eye, technician and
tracker, provided fire support. Even watching through the monitor, I was very excited! I admired the courage of these people, their skills. They held back any strikes and crushed the enemy with dignity. It looked like we had an easy walk. Moreover, I was surprised how much loot we got. The ship was secured and in our excitement we wandered more into the depths of the ship. I ran the loader to lift containers with artifacts and equipment. I decided to take some trophy for myself. It was against the rules, but I could not help it. Here! The Ancient Tome of Cybermancy!"

He showed me the book. It seemed that the pages were riddled with blood vessels and wires. On a thick leather cover one could see ancient microcircuits and pulsating veins. The purple light emanated from the book and the sparks of nanoparticles circled around it in a mystical whirlwind. Electra's face distorted the grimace of pain, but she did not say anything.
Kowlaq looked down and spoke further.

"Suddenly we realized that the energy was coming to an end! It was nerve wracking moment, I'll tell you! But it was not the worst. Coming back in a hurry, Simmons turned off the wrong way at the fork. This triggered a trap. In an instant we were surrounded by drones. And it was not just some weak janitors. These ones were real machines for murder. Their number grew with every second and bitter despair began to approach the throat. At that moment, we heard Electra's screams. I took out looted glove trying to break through the crowd. I almost reached the airlock, as a rusty blade ripped open my stomach. Pain, despair, darkness ... That's all I felt thereat. This is the end, I thought."

Kowlaq was silent. He took the bottle and drank it in one gulp. Wiping his lips with his sleeve, he tried to finish the story.

"I woke up amidst a pile of my own organs, clutching a blood-drenched book in my hands. I felt it penetrating me. I heard the voices in my head, a terrible whisper of them. I felt a cold creeping into the soul. And the agnonie of a new birth. This book ... It brought me back. And it helped me to return Electra."

"Bring me back !?" The woman screamed. "This thing turned me into a doll! I fight for you, I protect you from any blows, I ... I even love you, dammit!"

"I know, my dear." Kowlaq answered gently.

Well, it was embarrassing. I did not know what to say. Hopefully, the man understood my embarrassment.

"Is this your first outing today, kid? Good luck to you then!" Kowlaq patted me on the shoulder and disappeared into the darkness with his companion.

Well my favourite moment is simple. It was within my first few hours and i played the leader, tracker and medic.

1. The leader inspired my 2 other classes and succeeded to give them the opportunity to let them use an extra card.
2. My medic used adrenaline(?) on both his actions and gave the tracker the opportunity to use an additional 2 cards.
3. My tracker had, from the last turn, buffed himself with 66% extra dmg. In one turn i could use 3 aoe attack cards and one single target attack card and completely wiped the board. It felt great.

Now, i hoped, with cards and all, that there would be moments where you have the lucky draws or random moments of great combos. Now i know and i got excitet for what other cool synergies i could find.

My favorite moment happend fairly early on in my first game aginst Friedman and his gang.
Chars: Loki, Engineer / Fortuna, Medic / Gladius, Bruiser

After i talked to a group of scavengers of some sort that told me that i would get the data, that so dearly needed to find the mothership, if i would have get rid off Friedman and his pirates. So i began searching for him. I was ready for a hard fight having previously fought against some of his men. Then with half-empty energy supply but still stalwart i found Friedman and his space highwayman. The fighting did not began immidiately but only after a short conversation in which Friedman only confirmed his brutish character.

The fighting began with a massive salvo of the pirates which, to my horror, depleted the personal shields of my engineer and medic. My team bagan firing back but with less success. Only Gladius was able to make a tremensous amount of damege with his shield shatering weapon. As the fight went on and Loki was barely able to regain his shield after Gladius took the hits from the enemies after taunting them to let his comrades regain their shields. Luckly for him he managed to dodge a few of them thanks to Fortuna. But the Pirates, seeing my engineer still weak in defense, focused their fire on Loki once again. After which he went to ground but was still able to point out the weaknesses of one of the pirates before going unconscious after another salvo of one pirate. Then, raging by the loss of his friend, beeing ready to attack and bolstered with initiative by Fortuna, Gladius began attacking almost like a berseker against the filthy pirates. Knocking one of them down and stun the other two. The rest of the fighting went only one sided as Fortuna unleashed her weapons scatter shots and Gladius battering on Friedmans head not letting him do anything until there was not much of a head left.

After the fight stabilized Loki,Gladius picked Loki up and went finding the scavengers for their hard earned reward.

I do not want to share my foto here but if you enjoyed my story as much as i did and lucky enough to win please contact my via Steam for the Picture

Starting to play, get excited, pick carefuly the names of all my mercs since I think this is gonna be a rought but epic adventure.

Get my first contracts and get to explore my first derelict...

First random encounters, ofc the leader solves them all by good talking...

Ok, it's time to check the combat system of this game, let's go for that fight

4 Janitors appear, they seem rought but we are still 3 loaded up pals!

3 attacks and Rusty our tech is down, Medic becomes mad as he wastes his turn to reload his shields, just to almost die in the next round.

As the turnout is becoming clear, the Leader decides that it's time to go, but those janitors we there for a reason... to prevent future scrappers boarding the derelict.

In just a last fast round, the first and last battle for the merc trio was settled, their corpses becoming other derelict trophy in the dark and cold space.

Here is a pic of me, with my iconic orange glasses (im sure you can edit them in a cool way) but if you need full face, pm me.

It didn't take long to find an egg... A prize for the highest bidder. I was a brand new scrapper, dragging along a pair of green recruits with almost no skill in combat.

It was almost too easy to find our way to the nest. Nothing stopped us. Nothing slowed us down. Nothing gave us the slightest inkling that something might go wrong.

Now, I wake up in a sweat and vow never to be the leader again. Let another be the reason someone gets turned into worm food...
Spitfire17 Dec 4, 2017 @ 12:55am
My favorite encounter was when I reached level 10 in the arena with my ninja medic. My scrapper and tracker both fell to puncturing wounds from worms in the previous area, but my medic trekked on alone to attempt to break through to the end of the maze.

Standing in my way was a big red purifying juggernaut. The only way to out-speed the giant was for the medic to use an energize card on himself to increase his initiative. Luck was on the medic's side and the card was critical, allowing him to make a further 2 moves that turn. The medic proceeded to cloak into the shadows and repair his shields. Using crafting kits out of his tool bag, the medic was able to continuously draw cloaking cards and bide his time to gather as many energize abilities as possible before making his move.

After gathering 4 energize cards, the medic began dispatching the juggernaut's bodyguards by releasing scrappy bombs from the shadows. With only the juggernaut remaining, the medic decloaked from his attack and proceeded to energize himself for another. Critical! The medic fired his assault rifle full auto into the juggernaut and was able to re-energize himself to do it again. Critical! The medic continues to pelt the juggernaut with 10 rounds per attack. Critical! One of the medic's attacks finds it's way past a weak spot in the juggernaut's armor, and a lethal status effect is procced. The juggernaut crumpled into a metallic heap.

Against all odds, a lone medic was able to defeat a monstrosity with more than 140 health points. I'm actually a little nervous to see what challenges await our lone traveler in the second last chamber of the arena.

I find it very entertaining, combining different types of tools on different classes. A class like the medic or the technician can become highly flexible characters later in the game, thanks to their two tool slots. You can make a ninja medic, or a bombardier technician, or any other assortment of hybrid roles for your crew. There is certainly a lot of flexibility and customization options available to the player in this game.

Here is the most recent picture of myself. I'm the one on the left with the red shirt. The person in the middle is Sam Roberts from the Sam Roberts band. It would be pretty funny if you actually decided to include Sam Roberts' face in the game. I'll leave it up to you talented people to decide which option would be more entertaining.

About my most exciting experience, i would say that i didn't have a surprising moment, the most markable experience was when the game "ended", i spended some hours playing and evolving the characters, so suddenlly there was nothing to do anymore, was frustrating. So i remembered that it's a kind of a "open beta", so i guess i'm gonna wait.
I just loved the game art, and the missions strutucture (But i'm in doubt about that pc part, i tried to hack him and failed, another frustrating moment). I may have sounded a little "grumpy", but it's not my point. I'm a kind of person who love the frustration, it's better to lose three times in a role than win without any issue, the frustation about the game ending so suddenly is going to make the future game experience even better. I really hated how we just die when energy go 0, but if you guys change that i guess the game loss one of his most fun caracteristics. I played until the "end" just three times, i guess i don't have any ther tense experience to relate, if i keep saying things i'm going to just exalt some things and grumble about others. But if the game keep going like it is, is going to be great as ♥♥♥♥.
(Ohh, wait, there is one more, is not about a moment but some kind of ocasion. The satisfaction of having a strong character, wich you invested some time and items, with a strong set. For an exemple, on the last planet that i've explored my Bruiser was a hell of strong, and before almost die many times was great to see how he smashed some Janitors and those cobra girls [Was like in the GBA pokemon games, when you train your pokemon with a lot of effort and him much stronger than what he was supposed to be in some especificly gym battle -What is a little bit bad too, because turned out all the battles become too easy, since the mob's didn't get stronger [With the exeption of the "bosses"], in the end i guess i beated that giant worm like, a lot easier than when i tried on my first campaign)

Here i go, first of all i'm sorry if my english is'nt understandable (Was better to say before). (Here is a storie just for creative reasons, so you guys can picture the character more than i could in that bad draw)

When i was younger, i usually played games like D&D and a lot of other RPG systems. I have a picture of a my beloved character on that time, if you guys give the oportunitie to make someone pretty happy, i'm shure i will be with him like a character in one of the selected games i bought. (Seriously, i guess i just bought chivalry, the rest was just on free promotions of steam, considere your game very precious to me now). I'm going to adapt the character medieval aspects to DSD cyberpunk World, but be free to do whatever you guys want. (Just the chance of having a Bruiser character named Drusco Lecvial, or Hellneb -Yep, was a compound name, 3 names for one [Remind that i never ever even had won a candie on any kind of lottery).
(I stoped playing when a group of friends lost their respective characters in a dungeon in one RPG session that i couldn't go)

Ok, here we go.

-Story:
My name is Drusco Lecvial, my friends used to call me Hellneb. My name doesn't describe this much, the same way this "nickname" don't.
I was borned in a primitive world, in a far away galaxy. There we didn't even had those spaceships of yours and that all this spacial crap that now i'm used to see. But back in history, my planet. After the moment that i "choosed" to leave, i was almost alone in the woods living by my moral concepts and my toughts, away from the cities and etc., isolated to suffer for my past, surrounded just by the animals that i tamed. I'm a rough and hard to talk guy, but the ones who i choose to be my friends have my life as wall in front of their problems, there is honor in protect, and honor is the poetry of this duty, this can sound a little cliche, but it's the truth. Every life have his role, and everyone is the main character on his life, i like to live thinking that way and respecting every kind of life that i met, usualy they even come to my side (But as they are, i'm a main character of my own life too, and like this i can't let the ones who try to oppose my duty or to take my life to getting out easy). One day a group of strange people came from the sky to look for some other thing who dropped down days before, a "space ship" according to them. Since i have lost some kind of "major" purpouse when my group and animals died doing some service without me, and without concerning me. Curiously, i sneaked into those people ship, and in the middle of my exploration they start to fly and moved away from my land. I keeped myself quiet until they landed, i left the ship and here i am, in a new and unespected strange sort of reallity.

Now i have to look for some kind of job, since there is no woods and animals to use for survive, i've already losted my tamed animal friends. Now on, with an equipment and a strong body i'm going to survive again. I don't want to be famous, i don't want to be rich, i don't want to change the world. I'm just living my life as every creature is doing, by my own hands and by my own moral, until the day that my hands don't work properly anymore. Every day i go one step closer to the death, but i'm not giving my life this easy because of this, and if it's possible i would like to encounter people who are worthy of my respect and try to survive in this new whole undiscovered universe with them by my wings, as my old friends used to say, i'm a protector and i'm the blow of hell, you choose. But make shure to choose right because after encounter me your life is going to change, for good, or for bad.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a big deal for me, and i am going to be happy as ♥♥♥♥ if i'm one of the choosen. It's like some kind of a sequel who never happened in the game.

This is the character, but poor drawned:

Kind of a goofy story on my side, but I was playing the campaign I was in a skype call with a friend of mine playing through the game and I get to the puzzle involving the computer and get a little quiet I'm screensharing and I ask what I'm reading here? He reads through it too and since we're pretty dumb neither of us really understand the puzzle so we go to the jacobslatter terminal and try and get to work... First we try to figure out the puzzle but again, we're dumb and only have a feint idea of what the question is. We only get the answer on the 3rd try and I realize "Man, this game is gonna get way to smart for me, isn't it?" and I was actually able to get the second puzzle on the first try but going back to Hal was a moment of me and my friend laughing that we still didn't really get the first puzzle.

My brother sent me the steam link of the game a few weeks ago, knowing I liked Darkest Dungeon a lot, and with the cartoon style and turn-based tactics, and being sci-fi themed, I purchased the early access right away.

One of my favourite moments was in the lvl 3 derelict, named Amanceth. I encounter a Mawurm, which had like 85 hit points. So my tracker, Dimitri, gets first turn. He has a mod in his precision rifle called "Ray Scope", with two "Lethal Shot" cards (150% weapon dmg and 5% lethal shot).

So I use lethal shot at the giant, slimy worm, and lethal it is indeed: 91 crit damage! The giant collapses with some kind of instinctive and animalistic "WTF nerf tracker" thought interrupted in a nanosecond by Dmitri's shot hitting its tiny brain (in comparison to its body), which stains the metal ground of the ancient ship.

Anyways, my brother was with me at this glorious moment, and we arrived to the conclusion that Dimitri would have been an excellent Harkonnen, killing giant worms while Paul Atreides cries in a corner.

Niche jokes aside, I have good vibes from this game, and I love the art style and the cards system in particular, I think it gives an element of randomness very fun indeed. Also the sound effects are really good, but i'm not digging the music much. Just some constructive criticism ,keep un the good work! :)

Awesome game! Gonna give it a spin with a short story based on my short experience on the Derelicts :)

"The gunfire came suddenly from the darkness. Johannson reactively hit the deck, her medical tool scattered away on the floor in the process. Dirt and dust took to the air from the impact. Me and Cargyle turned around to face our threat, our shields pulsing from the heavy barrage of bullets.
Three scavengers, Rim-sector scumbags, stood in a tight formation. Only flickers of their armors could be seen in the glaring muzzle flashes. The sound bullets flying and casings hitting the marble floor echoed in the derelict halls.
"I can take them boss!", Cargyle yelled. I could clearly hear the sound of excitement in his voice.
"I`m counting on it!", I replied while i checked up on Johannson. She was prepping her medical tool, her sidearm drawn and ready.

A sudden silence filled the room, followed by a whirring sound. I looked at Cargyle in horror.
"Cargyle, be carefu...." The room was filled by a storm of bullets from the ramped up gatling cannon. I quickly diverted power from my shield to Cargyles`.
Cargyle roared in a frenzy, his power shields flickering like a strobe light. Raising his power maul, he charged the pirates. Johannson fired a stim towards him for good measure.

We could hear his shields faltering as he slammed his maul into the trio of men. The shattering sound of armor and bones broke the gunfire and finished in a crescendo by the smashing of the marble tiles. And then, silence.
Johannson ran towards Cargyle, and I followed suit. Cargyle stood upright, his maul planted in the floor next to the mangled corpses of the pirates.
"That... was a good fight...", Cargyle said in a whisper as his body failed him. Blood poured from his armor.
Johannson tried to steady him, but as much as his heavy build was a boon, this time it was an inconvenience. "He`s bleeding out!", Johannson yelled, trying to stop the bleeding. "We need to get him to the ship".

It was an exhausting trip to the ship, our energy supply almost drained. Cargyle mumbling something about alchohol and women all the way.
Now, as I steer the ship towards The Station, we all pray to whatever divine being holds control over our fate to save Cargyle. His team needs him"
Found this on your facebook post so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I really REALLY love the game's subtle humor, overall story-line and awesome puzzles, but there's so much stuff that I can't decide on what to write.
And then I heard there's no word count limit, so I wrote a bunch of stuff :D
I'm probably going to write more even after this since the game has so many unexpected moments, and everything in-game is so oddly charming.

Have a link to the story since it's sort-of long and I don't want to have a super long comment. :V
