Lightning trap (like many traps) clearly suffer from the fact they don't have a unique item with OP bonus effect though. DiabloIII sickness. If it doesn't have a set, you don't play it. :(

Also please use capital letters and puncuation. Its much easier to read...
This means you can cram 9 into a 3x3 space and any enemy going through the center of that 3x3 square will trigger all of them, chaining onto everything else and causing repeated stuns and damage.
The traps OP listed as "better" are all wall traps, save for the Slime trap (which are excellent when placed between lightning traps anyway).
