You can mouse-click the tile prematurely to "rush" the wave and release it early. Alternatively use the hotkey you've bound to it. (default is "E" I think.).
Rushing multiple waves in quick succession generates WRATH which not only releases the wave early, but increases traits of the mobs comming out. There are multiple tiers of wrath as indicated by the colors the wave-tiles turn when you keep releasing early.
The wrath levels will diminish if you fail to keep rushing in quick succession. The tiles will return to their normal grey color and you can continue to "rush" waves without the wrath modifiers...or let waves release at their regular pace again...
It's extremely well implemented and intuitive.
My biggest complaint about that objective is that I nearly always forget to rush just ONE wave somewhere in the middle and have to repeat with my brain turned on...
I second this, I swear i've played a few rounds now, where I've actively rushed all waves, but somehow mis-clicked or something, because I didn't get the accomplishment for rush all waves. I wish there was a way to automate this. Worst part is, the achievement should go dark or something (IE: *FAILED*) during the level, so you know you missed it, instead of waiting till the end, with no idea where it was missed!
Also, the fact that [tab] pauses instead of [space] (like most games of this genre) is really throwing me off. So many times I've sped up, instead of pausing, arg.
We plan to add this feature in a future update.
As for the keybinding issues, you can actually change them to your taste in the options menu.
Which feature bit specifically?
For the keyboard, good call, I should probably do that!
I meant this.
Oh that's cool, but not as cool as auto-rush.
Maybe a SFX of some sort to go with it too? :D
