Stuck 1st level Ascension 6 - IOS is this a bug?

At ascension 5 I had 300-400 lvl per trap slot, about 40 mastery on dart and 28 on floor trap. Also, I was level 1085.

But as soon as I ascended to Ascension 6, the first Map cannot be completed, the mobs have way to much hit points. The first Map starts at level 19 and I'm (level 1) only allowed dart and floor trap, with a mastery of 40 and 28 respectively and 32 gems.

Anyone else got past it? this is on IOS.

Starting to feel like this is a bug.

You got farther than I did. I ascended twice and thought it was too hard so I just started over and am not going to ascend again.

You could focus all your skillpoints to boost your traps damage, thought that probably won't help much.
