Loading a save or starting a new mission breaks Discord stream

My friend wanted me to play a Thief game and stream it on Discord so they could watch, but every time I load a save or start a new mission, the game window glitches out a bit before restoring itself. However, while it's glitched out, the stream pauses, then ends completely. I have the unofficial patch installed, which helped with a ton of issues, but not this one. There may be a setting in the patch settings I can change to fix the issue, but I don't know what that'd be.
Does anyone have any ideas?

same problem here, its because it opens a new separate application to load the game after you use the menu, and i have to keep going into my game settings and adding it as a game to stream it. this doesnt happen when i die though.

if you get tired of it you can just stream your whole screen, there wont be sound though
