How to configure audio input
The manual mentions being able to input audio from an external source, however there is no explanation on how to do it. The software is AMAZING and deep, but the manual is pretty bare-bones. Looking over the other posts on this board, it's clear to me that I'm not the only one who thinks that the manual is lacking some critical info.

I know this is an old post but I'd like to know how to route the audio as well, any info?

make sure you have a recording device enabled in your sound panel (your microphone, stereo mix, etc)
pick a parameter that you want to be affected by sound input, right click and select 'arm to audio L' or 'arm to audio R'. go to extra, increase the gain, base, and change of whichever channel you chose.

I literally cannot find where in the Cathodemer GUI I can select my audio source. I also have working audio input (Line In) that I can hear on my desktop, but still no audio signal in Cathodemer. Yes I do have gain and volume turned up, and no luck.

is your 'line in' the only recording device you have enabled in your sound panel?

I found out how to do it, thanks for the follow up though. It just wasn't very clear to me. I am using an audio interface with two inputs one seems to automatically be the left channel and the other is the right.

Yoyoyo! Could you please give me a lead in the right direction? I've disabled all of my microphones, no idea how to tie this gorgeous spaceship deck to sound.

I just now figured out my problem. Perhaps this is the problem others have as well.
I went into my recording options like danglegang said. As I thought, the audio recording inputs are enabled.
I noticed that, on the Listen tab, I have "Listen to this device" disabled. This is because of feedback I get when working on music with external audio input.
So I turned this on and BAM!! Cathodemer can now hear input audio. In the opening screen I selected default audio. I have not yet tried with other options.
I do have NDI installed and am curious if I can route the audio that way to avoid feedback issues like previously mentioned. Otherwise I'll have to enable and disable this option as-needed.
