Cathodemer and Spout

The "manual" says that using Spout to receive and separately record the video produces a smoother output. When I set up Spout it does receive the spout signal from cathodemer, but it is simply a black screen. I fudged around with both cathodemer settings, including the CPU Memory Share and NDI Streaming but couldn't get anything but a black screen from the Spout receiver.

If anyone, including the developer, can help with this that would be appreciated. I'm really just not sure how to get smooth video out of cathodemer, which is a shame as I love the visuals that I'm able to produce with the program. Just don't want to make a music video that's 5 fps.

Same here. I've even emailed the dev about it. MONTHS ago. No response.
In all my searching I have found zero help with this. I even went so far as to install NDI.
I know Spout and NDI themselves both work, because all the other apps I have that can "speak" them send and receive just fine.
If other people know how to make it work, they ain't sharin'
You should get smooth video output tho if you Record To Video. It's much smoother than the displayed render. Much.

After the update Spout and NDI are working here. Perhaps give it another try.
Also, when you record video out directly from Cathodemer's Render Screen menu options, the output video is the correct frame rate.
