So about the silent protagonist of Correctness... (Spoilers)
Maybe i'm just dumb, but i'm playing through Correctness for the second time (after having finished the entire game) and i'm still not sure if he's supposed to be Akira or not. There are still loads of things i'm trying to figure out about the story, but this is the one plot element that makes me feel kind of stupid. Is it a new character, or is it Akira? I mean, White Out did show that Akira already knew Shiroyabu, so maybe Shiroyabu would have recognized him, but then again Shiroyabu's entire situation is a headache in its own right, and doubly so considering the events of White Out. I feel like there are a few hints towards the protagonist being Akira, but it's all super cryptic.

And then there are all the other nagging questions, like who or what exactly Slash truly is, or where Kiryu went, or why Kuroyanagi is such a QT. I think this might be the most headache-inducing Suda game.

I thought Akira died in Silver Case.

The new guy might just be another Kamui vessel.

Have you completed all of Correctness yet? If not then you might want to steer clear of this thread for now because of spoilers

That is meant to be the player character from TSC, yes. The original promo pictures showed his face clearly, it was obscured in the actual game.

Thanks, this clarifies a lot of stuff.

Shiroyabu would have recognized Akira if it was him. And Uehara was sent by the head of the 25th Ward. I don't think it's him, Kusabi would not have allowed him (SPOILER FINAL CHAPTER being killed)

I 90% believe that Akira from TSC and Akira (whoever) are the same character in the 25W as a player character (basically player with no story, placeholder).

I don't think it's him because Sakura says that you "remind her of him" or something along those lines. But he looks and acts almost exactly the same, so I don't know.

That's why I left 10% of the doubt, but in the end it's just a mute character for player to take part of.

The source of that gunshot is revealed in this game.

There is an explanation why Shiroyabu did not recognize Akira Uehara. It is because Shiroyabu's memories of WHITEOUT were sealed away as part of a past life.

The supernatural & time travel elements make things really confusing.

This leaves the question of why Sakura Natsume said that Uehara only reminded her of someone else. Simplest explanation is that she meant - Akira Uehara reminded her of someone else from the 24th Ward HCU.

Yeah, i was thinking that the Shiroyabu thing was because of his very particular set of circumstances. And i assumed the same thing about Sakura, but at the same time, i'm not quite sure who he would remind her of. It seems like it carries too many implications to just be a throwaway line about nobody in particular.
