How long did it take for people to finish?
Looking through the reviews, it seems about 20-30hours which is... really long. I'm fairly sure the original The Silver Case only took me around 12-13 hours to finish both story arcs, and I was hoping for something similar. My major concern is the addition of puzzles and potentially getting stuck. Flower, Sun and Rain, as much as I loved it, was HEAVY on the puzzles and if I didn't have a guide I never would have finished it. Still, really looking forward to finishing the game. I love the opening chapters, Jabroni.

Most of the puzzles here seemed to be a bit easier than in either of the other two, but I still looked at a guide for a few. However, the ones I had the most trouble with had more to do with exploring the environment rather than figuring the answer.

I'd say most of the time is taken up by simply having a longer story. Chapters seem somewhat shorter but there are more of them overall.

It did take me 22 hours, but that's about how long the original took me. So I think it will be of similar length to you as TSC was.

25W does have a bunch of puzzles but they're not as hard as FSR. Several of them are downright trivial. There are a few strange/abstract ones, but they're not really "input a word/number" ones, they're... other things.

I´ve been playing for around 15 hours and I´m stuck at the Digital Man complex apartment!

I think 25W little shorter than TSC, but it's still over 20 hours for each game.
Depends of you text speed reading, luck and brain abilities :Silver_Naka:

Maybe it was the US version that I played but FSR puzzles were super easy, the answer was always in the in-game guide. Unless you're talking of the lost and found bonus puzzles which seemed so hard that I never tried (though the music during lost and found was my favorite track in the game).

In 25W the puzzles are usually common sense stuff I didn't find many issues with them.

Yes, in FSR hints are always in the guidebook (that's the gimmick) but the problem is that it's not always obvious how to get from those hints to the answers.

For example, in R-17 of FSR, how are you supposed to know that you have to input one day BEFORE the date given in the article in the guidebook? Or earlier on, to ignore the defense on the third Navigator robot? It's still beatable without a guide, but you have to take some leaps of logic yourself to get those answers, especially in the second half of the game.

I have 42 hours on record, but I also A, played through all 100 endings of black out, and B, played through with emphasis on finding typos and other mistakes as a beta-tester. I think even without getting every ending, the 30-hour count is probably accurate, especially considering the fifth chapter of Correctness takes maybe two hours.

Wait, so there´s more than just one ending? Wow!

Y... you'll see. ;o
