how can i get more wheat and seeds?
i mean..i didnt know i need wheat for buildings so i cooked it. and now i have to spend like years underground to find myself some seeds (no. there is ho wheat spawn on surface anymore)

Wheat appears during Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons on the topmost dirt layer, where you spawn. So long as there are dirt blocks for it to spawn on, the game will periodically spawn seedlings that will then grow to full, at which point you can harvest them.

Divo the Merchant also has a chance to sell a random handful of seeds each ingame day.

Every base food seed is additionally available through food sacks found in treasure hordes throughout the map, in clay deposits. Sometimes these contain rune stones, crystals, treasure chests, mushrooms, etc.

Finally, all bosses in Normal difficulty drop a random assortment of seeds when killed. This is likely the easiest and fastest method if you have unlocked the Wizard merchant- simply buy a Normal World book and consume it to reset the map below the dirt layer.
