I'm puzzled by the shock. D3 had one expansion, and in the past year(s) has had little to no new content added. The game's been on life support with seasons since they added them.

Further, you're talking about the company that wants you to buy their most successful game (WoW), pay a monthly fee to play it, and on top of that pay for expansions. And let's not forget that Blizzcon is people paying to see commercials.

As much as I'd like to blame Blizzard for the state of things I blame their fanboys for not only tolerating, but encouraging these disgusting practices.

Ultimately it's always a matter of consumer discipline. And obviously the general consumer has no discipline.

I think dave said to tone it down, let's give it a chance, don't criticize it until we play it and judge for ourselves. Bliz con was not the greatest place to announce this since it is aimed at HC pc players. He also expressed surprise that they did not do it inhouse.

I'm fine with it going mobile, but the problem is that Blizzard is failing to express their intent, here. Blizzard was built up from people who play computer games and many pay money every year to support Blizzard and go to Blizzcon only to be let down. Blizzard does not show at all that they are in touch their playerbase and continues to half-ass their products and make lies as explanations. Instead of being honest, they just let people continue to think that they will deliver what they ask for.

Blizzard deserves every bit of criticism for the years of abuse. I'm glad I'm not as invested (as I may seem) in their brand. I am, however, disappointed that Blizzard doesn't seem interested in making the next big thing, just the next most lucrative thing.

heres the funny thing... D2 Still have a die hard loyal fan base so much they still sell the game and support the servers... Just saying when you have done something right, build on it rather then throw it through the window in to the crash compacter outside with will take it to the dump the next town over.

D2 is still better then D3 is but its a shame to see blizzard flounder with it like it is. If anyone has played the first diablo there is a wounderful mod out there with brings d2 and d3 content to d1, while also brings in hellfire content to it as well. Diablo Beelzebub is the name of the mod It honistly feels like it brings the best aspects of ALL three games in to one game, well... i do wish it would bring in the crafting aspect but beggers can be choosers there.

I am a fan of diablo and it made me upset but when I think about it, this game is not for us. It is for asian markets. Just pretend it didn't happen and wait for 4. With all the money they will make maybe D4 would be even better
