How to map hotbar to multi button mouse keys?

I have a multi button mouse for action RPGs, and I like use the extra mouse buttons (M3+) for skills/items, but I can't figure out how to map them in the control configuration screen, it seems to only work for keyboard keys.

Is there a way to do this? If not, can we add this in a later patch?

Is there not software that came with your mouse to map those keys to keyboard presses?

You can rebind the in game hotbars to just about anything, throw it on a keyboard key that is never used and then map your mouse to hit that.

No software, it's a cheapo amazon special, but I can map in other games by selecting the option then clicking a mouse button.
I was just wondering if I missed something in the config menu.

There is third party software that allows you to rebind keys to anything, it should work for any mouse. Look for Xpadder or similar apps.

AutoHotKey can do that too but it will require some searching and reading if you don't know how to use it.

In regards to your question no, you are not missing anything. If clicking on the keybind with your mouse does not register, the game does not understand your mouse.
