Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a regular match, what are the mechanics?

A regular match has a 9 minute time limit. This is divided into 3 rounds. Round 1 has the whole map open and you can move around freely. During this round you should attempt to acquire as many items as possible. After 3 minutes round 1 ends and the outer section of the map is closed off due to the doors stop working and anyone still stuck there will die from the gas release. After the end of round 2 the inner ring of the map is closed off and only the main room is gas free. Everyone left has 3 minutes to fight it out then, if no one wins by the end of 3 minutes, everyone dies that remains. The final room does have some hiding or cover spots, but it is a much larger and open room than most of the map and makes for a nice spot to have a firefight as there isn’t anywhere to retreat to.

As with most Battle Royale games once you die there is no respawning. Once you are dead you will eventually be kicked from the match and welcome to join another one.

How many players can play per match? Are there any bots?

The game is targeted as less players per match and feature smaller maps and a focus on fast paced action. 16-20 players are currently supported depending on the map. This value can be changed per map, so it is possible that we may introduce some larger maps in the future which are targeted at more players. Our focus though is on faster paced action currently.

Is combat realistic or more of an arcade like experience?

We are developing the combat to fit somewhere between an arcade like experience with bullets flying everywhere and the military sim combat experience with 1 or 2 bullets killing you instantly. It is a bit more tactical than arcade style, but players due to armor players can take a few more hits than they might in other tactical shooters.

How often do matches begin?

A match start timer begins 2 1/2 minutes after the first player enters the match and is placed in the waiting room. If the match fills up to maximum capacity and more than 30 seconds remain on this timer it will automatically set the start time to 30 seconds. Otherwise it waits until players fill up or the five minute timer elapses. This means you have between a 30 second and five minute wait between matches.

How are items distributed?

Item spawners are placed throughout the map. Items will randomly spawn from these locations, creating a scenario where players must actively search for the items they wish to use while dodging opponents.

The highest density of weapons are in the outer region that closes after the first round, but there are weapons, armor and other items in each section. The first two sections of the map will not respawn items, but the central conflict area where all players will be engaged in round three does have some item types which do respawn including ammunition, grenades, jet packs, and medical items. When a player is killed they will drop their inventory onto the ground. Bots will not drop items, however if they are present.

How accurate is damage? Can I hit the head, arms, legs, etc?

We support arm, leg, body, and head shots, with armor penetration and varying modifiers. Armor will absorb additional damage on each of those body parts.

Projectile weapons and grenades do splash damage that can be obstructed by physical objects (such as desks, walls, etc) and taking cover from them will be beneficial.

How does the inventory system work?

Players have both a primary and a secondary slot weapon, a melee slot, and 3 utility slots which can all be quickly accessed. You also feature an inventory which can be expanded by collecting backpack items in game. This allows you to store additional items for later usage.

Hoverbikes are a fast moving individual vehicle. Move near the bike and press the Interact (E) key to mount it. You can dismount using CTRL+X. Hoverbikes move very quickly but have no weapons. They can be destroyed by other players which will cause an explosion which will damage the player.

Is there a tutorial available?

The lobby where you join a match serves as the tutorial for the game as well. There are a few rooms that serve as stations to explain the game mechanics before you join a match and even a small firing range to get use to handling the weapons as well throw grenades until you get tired of chucking them. We recommend taking 10-15 minutes to go through the tutorial and read everything before jumping into your first match.

Can you play offline or are all matches online?

We have a tutorial that you load into that serves as the lobby to join into a match. It will teach you most of the basic game features, but the bulk of the gameplay is online only.

Are the servers dedicated or player hosted?

All servers are hosted by us. Players once they leave the lobby will be matched to a server this is available and waiting to start a match. Players do have some configuration options for their matches, however.

How long will I have to wait before a match starts?

By default once a player joins the server the match timer kicks in and there is a two and a half minute timer at the most. If the match fills up before that point it will start 30 seconds after filling up.

Are there any team options or any team options planned?

Only free for all is currently supported. We may add team support at a later time.

You can jump by pressing the space bar. If you have found a jet pack and it has fuel you can hold that button to jet. Jet packs have limited fuel.

How do Sniper Rifles work?

Sniper rifles feature a zoomable scope. When you aim it will automatically move into scope view.

How do Detonation Grenades work?

These special grenade types are used to lay traps for other players. Once activated they will latch onto the surface where they land and create a mine which will explode when a player walks near them.

If players spot a mine on the ground they can shoot it to force an explosion.

How do Mine Launchers work?

Mine launchers shoot projectiles that will create mines where they land, and can also damage players if they land on them. The mines will explode when players walk near them. Mines despawn after 30 seconds, however.

Are there any environmental dangers or NPCs?

Bots will be spawned automatically if the match needs more players. The indoor map features turrets in some hallways.

How do exploding cannisters work?

Simply aim and shoot at these devices to create a large explosion.

How do gas pods work?

These devices have a green glow and lighting when they have not yet been activated. Shooting them will remove the lighting and dull the glow, as well as creating a subtle gas effect around the object. Players who walk near them will be damaged by the gas.

What different ammo types are there?

Pistols and Rifles share a generic Ammunition type, where Beam weapons and Shockguns use batteries. Pulse weapons share their own type of pulse ammunition. Sniper Rifles and Shotguns have their own weapon types. Rocket Launchers both share the same Rocket ammunition. Grenade and Mine Launchers share a Grenade Ammunition type.

How do Energy Shields work?

Energy shields will absorb a portion of incoming damage until they are depleted.

How do Tele-Grenades work?

Tele-Grenades or teleportation grenades can be thrown and will teleport you wherever they land. They are best used in emergency situations when you find yourself pinned down.
