Oculus Black Screen

Launching the game is sticking me in a black screen room.

My Oculus Home app is up to date, I'm using SteamVR beta with OpenVR Advanced Settings.

Have tried running Voltron.exe in Windows 7 compatbility but still black screen.

Tried to play this on my work mates PC, Happens to his setup too and he has a Rift and considering I have a Rift as well I'm not buying until this issue is sorted out or some type of fix is found.

Yep, same. Just bought it this steam sale and I can't get it to run.

Yep, same. Just bought it this steam sale and I can't get it to run.

I eventually got it to run on my friends PC by going to the executable and runniing it wth admin rights, Although I'm glad he bought it on his Steam account and I tried it on his PC instead of buying it for my account, Quite a short experience, Awesome but short.

I have the same problem. Black screen. Running Steam VR Beta, Windows 10 Pro, i7 7770K, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB ram laptop

I have the same problem with my Vive. However, this only happens when I run it through SteamVR home. As stated previously by DiceHunter, running directly from the executable, or even by the Play button from the Steam library, was I able to run the game.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. Running on Vive, just get a black screen. Running as admin doesn't help :(

Just purchased this for my Daughter and I also have the black screen issue. I tried admin, win7 compatability, etc. Anyone have another solution?

Same issue, using "play", or running directly doesn't help. Just frozen on black screen.

Same black screen "unresponsive" issue for me as well. Any update to this?

Edit: I got this to work by deleting the voltron.exe and then doing an integrity check. (I did an integrity check before without deleting anything)

I don't know if it did anything or if it just "randomly" worked this time.

New solution... I read on reddit that some games have problems with SteamVR Beta, and that appears to be the case for Voltron. I was running the beta. Turned it off, re-loaded back in to the old Steam VR and now Voltron works fine.

I have this same issue with the HTC Vive and have found no solution to get this game to work which is extremely frustrating.
