Perhaps you meant the development of romantic feelings among characters? Yes. There are plenty of cases of such relationships in the game, and all of them are quite complex with different outcomes. There is a single ending for the game, and what an ending it is! I urge you to avoid spoilers (and avoid posting them without warnings and the spoiler tag) before you finish the game, as it is an exquisitely crafted tale best enjoyed clear of interference.
