Do the Nude Mods still work?

Hello everyone!

None of the mods I download seem to work (from random sites on the internet, the files from loverslab etc.). Some even make the game crash.

I understand they are made for an older version of the game. But how do I download it? The whole 'downloading an depot in the console'-thing doesn't seem to work here. Nothing gets downloaded in steam, no console messages after a whole day either.

I want to play this game with a lot nudity and large breasts. That's what I bought it for. Is it still possible?

PBS placed some sort of limiter on textures but as far as I know that's all that makes any mod crash. You can learn to adapt mods to the current build yourself, all the game requires is DXT1 compressed DDSes with a 1k resolution limit.

A DDS file is an image file often used for video game textures, Paintdotnet or GIMP with an extra plugin can open them. But you would first need to extract a DDS out of a CAT file with the CAT Texture Editor, that is how most Senran Kagura games store models and textures together.

So all together, once you got your tools with the power of modern search engines, if you find a texture set that doesn't work with the current build of PBS you just have to:

Extract every texture that doesn't fit the limits with the CAT Texture Editor,
Open one in the image editor of your choice,
Resize it to 1024 pixels by 1024 pixels,
Save as DDS with compression set to DXT1,
Repeat for every texture extracted,
Import the new images into the same CAT files with the CAT Texture Editor.

Hey Creep Gnome, thanks for your reply man! It gave me hope once again! (Because this world just needs some more busty anime ladies, lol. ;) )

I had it working with the following combination:
- Downloading and install depot 696171
- Install 1_Lightbeam removal
- Install 2_Nude Skin (1.08)
- Install 3_Commando Mod Ver. 2 + Ayame Apron
- Install 4_Monstruous Tits V2

Then I started installing more mods (X_ Main story CG naked mod, X_BustInfo, X_Invisible Jetpack, X_top menu nude pics) and the game didn't work anymore.

I guess some mods work, some don't. It's hard to try out because the game is so huge in size and takes ages to install. (It's easier now with the downloaded depot though.)

So if your friends/family walked in on you viewing mirai's naked body who's like 15 or w/e your answer would be: She's not real.
If you posted a video showing off full on naked underage characters on youtube or some porn site and people snapped at you for them being said underage your answer will clearly be: They're not real.

I think you're likely to be right that their answer would probably be: She's not real.

I don't think playing a game that only depicts animated naked underage characters is the same as posting a video showing animated naked underage characters on youtube or other sites.

Enjoying said X rated content in the privacy of their own homes is very different from sharing it online.

It seems somewhat harmless to others since removing censorship is only to their own game.

Hence, who cares.

None of the characters have ages stated canonically, but the fact that they are students at ninja colleges would heavily imply they're all of age.

Also "underage" is a pretty nebulous term since laws vary

While the versions of the Senran Kagura games we got outside of Japan don't give ages, some of the Japanese versions do give ages. A good number of the characters are said to be under 18 in those versions, and a few are even said to be 15 or below.
