hi ok so bassicaly,i ve just finished the game and beat the real final boss,and at the end,i ve seen the new senran kagura 7even announced,seriousely,the game seem cool,a senran kagura game in a post apocalyptic world,that seem cool...

anyway,do we have news about this game,like if the project is still alive and a possible release date??

Kenichiro Takagi who was the producer of Senran Kagura franchise left from Marvelous in 2019. Therefore, the project of 7 has de facto been canceled unfortunately.

ok so i made some research,and yes the producer of senran kagura has left marvelous and is now at cygames,however,the game is not canceled,it has just been pushed and the producer of senran kagura franchise is still of the command of the franchise,we are even gonna have kandagawa jet girl model for senran kagura 7even^^

so no,the project is not dead...

It is basically dead. Playstation went all SJW and started censoring Japanese games to the point where a game like Senran Kagura is not possible anymore. Senran Kagura 7even is contracted to be a Playstation (timed?) exclusive. They might still release a censored, watered down game, but it will likely be just an empty shell, devoid of everything that made Senran Kagura fun.

Today, popular Senran Kagura Producer Kenichiro Takaki announced that he is leaving Marvelous Entertainment. He talked about his decision and his future in a long interview on Weekly Famitsu.

Takaki-san explained that the main reason behind him leaving Marvelous can be found the new regulations related to sexy imagery that have become a big topic since last year. Things have changed in the past and after been hearing “this is not ok. This is not good either, maybe this isn’t ok” for a while, at some point last year he felt like the rope was pulled so much that it snapped.

Direct your anger towards Sony Playstation, not me.
Also Steam ♥♥♥♥♥ over Japanese developers too with censorship and unreasonable game bans. I'd suggest dlsite, JastUSA, fakku, mangagamer, denpasoft.. there's a whole lot of stores out there that aren't as regressive as Steam.

by the way,sorry,but i never heard of SJW take over sony and steam,yes it has censorship but i has always be a thing,so to me it's pretty much normal,so i don't see a reason of why senran kagura 7even is not gonna be release...

Or... pull the plug off the copium and accept reality. Games like senran kagura that's all about the light ecchi fan service gets censored will then have nothing to offer.

Funny thing about all the Sony & Stellar Blade controversy is that a small amount of looking into it led me straight to this game series. So at least something good came out of all of that. Shame that this series seems to be in limbo though.
