Why didn't the Burst remake go to Switch? WTF? xD
I don't see why it wouldn't, if they are remaking Burst so that it aligns with timeline 2 they probably mean to remake Deep Crimson too, as long as it wouldn't contradict with timeline 2. I wouldn't know, because I never played those games.
However if Deep Crimson contradicts with the events in timeline 2 to the point where it can't just simply be altered to fit, then you can count on it not being remade.
I posit as evidence the fact that in Estival Versus and later in PBS they introduced and confirmed their multiverse.
The events of Deep Crimson canonically happened in another universe and we even get a visit from little Kagura and Naraku who come to say hello to the girls and help them out, quite literally visiting from another universe.
So the timelines contradicting doesn't matter anymore.
